Weighty construction, detailed & neutral sound and rock-solid, instant Bluetooth connection. Been using one for 6 months and it easily fills the living area with sound without sounding strained or muddy. The speaker has surprisingly good bass and not all boomy or overdone. However just today added a powered 8inch Warfedale subwoofer and that transformed the sound onto another level. Edifier just seems to be able to make very musical amplified speakers.

I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality and output that this relatively small speaker is able to produce. Placement is key to get the best range out of the drivers, but it has crisp highs, smooth mids, and can hit some of the lows with enough oomph to keep anyone except the bassheads happy. I wasnât sure what to expect as far as âcertified refurbishedâ condition was concerned, but it came well packaged and is in almost perfect condition. I wouldnât hesitate to buy this again. Great order experience with Sixale too!

The speaker looks great and the build quality is good. Itâs reassuringly heavy and hefty! Sound quality is excellent. The only problems I have with it are: 1) It makes âbloopâ sounds at a loudish standard volume when bluetooth connects and disconnects - why?! I find this annoying, unnecessary (there is a light that also indicates itâs connected) and it cheapens the whole experience. Iâve noticed this is the case on many bluetooth speakers so itâs not exclusive to this. My old Creative D100 is the only one I have that doesnât. (I also have a couple of Bose and my fair share of cheap ones over the years.) Never mentioned in reviews or literature, manual, etc. Also makes it unsuitable for bedroom use for me anyway. Not the worst sin but I find it disproportionately ... MoreThe speaker looks great and the build quality is good. Itâs reassuringly heavy and hefty! Sound quality is excellent. Neither of these might be a problem for anyone else of course.

This speaker isn't small so you need a shelf or desk top but if you're looking for excellent sound in an average sized room this is the one. You'll hear full sound via Bluetooth or wired and at an excellent price. Solid construction, lots of grunt and good sized knobs to fine tune your preferred sound.
Great speaker. Iv had many over the years and being a bit of an audiophile myself. The speaker punches far above its weight and is a great fit for my home gym.
I hooked these up to my record player just to have something to play my modest collection. The sound is just ok. The bass is good, but the upper end feels like it's about to give out and start getting crackly. I switched over to bluetooth to see if the sound was any better, but it wasn't. The volume dial needs work. It's a continuous dial and it seems like they're in increments of 20 where I have to turn and turn to get the volume up.I like the form and the sound coverage is pretty good, but the price doesn't cut it for me.
This speaker has a satisfying, full-bodied sound. I first bought a speaker that had a clean sound and good volume but no bass. This Edifier that replaces that one costs twice as much but was worth it. Now even rock music sound good.
Iâm a fan of edifier speakers but this unit is mediocre at best without decent stereo separation. Decent for some background music with good inputs.
