Edifier T5 - Subwoofer - 70 Watt - 8"

But boy ain’t it a pleasant surprise.Best Feature(s):scalable bass range depending on your needs.Value For Money:high powered and probably beat other higher end products out there.I paired it with the Edifier R1280DBS and was more than powerfully equipped with the right bass range.

Edifier does not disappoint me

The speaker arrived today with the double-boxing and speaker in perfect condition. I hooked it in series with the two-year old Edifier R-1700BT bookshelf speakers I use with my computer gaming system. I was originally told by an Edifier representative, who must have been a contract worker for Edifier, that the T5 would not work if connected in series with the R-1700BT speakers, so I nearly disregarded it, except I could not find a sub-woofer under any other brand, no matter how expensive, that had a left and right RCA connector loop-through, which is what I needed. I was notdisappointed with my decision.The sound quality, the appearance, theprice, and the two year warranty on the speaker wasenough to completely satisfy me. So far, I have twice been a satisfied customer of Edifier, and I honestly would not hesitate to purchase their products again. Same goes for B&H, and their commitment to quality products, fast reliable shipping, and customer satisfaction. Ifmy comments seem a little runny with praise, it’s because a pickyperson has been satisfied, and these are totally unsolicited comments.

Impossibly Impressive. A Solid B+ at any price!

After my 1998/nearly 25 years old-Velodyne quit unexpectedly. I didn't really have a subwoofer in the budget, and just wanted to fill the void left in my 11 channel Atmos theatre. Still expecting terribly untuned bass, and assuming I'd be adjusting the gain control way down just to hold me over, purchased a pair of these, despite all of the positive reviews. I can now add my name to the list of those who left positive endorsements. My pair of 8" woofers properly configured (LFE) do not disappoint. To Anyone shopping in the under $800 Single woofer price point, do not hesitate. PURCHASE A PAIR of these "Little Monsters" and still come in way under budget and overly impressed.

Loud and bassy enough for a small office or gamero

This thing rocks so hard my entire bonus room upstairs shakes. For my 20 x 15 foot room its more than enough for me. I have it plugged into a pair of Edifier R1280DBS so this bass is working well with my gaming setup. The unit sometime cuts out if music or audio is not coming to it after too short of a time and it takes a moment for the bass to come back. Or I will turn it on and off and it connects back. I recommend for anyone needing that extra bass for a small room.
