Used to use this stuff, then I discovered the water from cans of chickpeas or beans does a better job, and is free. Also, I question why this company refuses to get certified as gluten free, and they can also not verify a third party non-gmo certification. They get ingredients from all over the place, and their lack of certifications troubles me.I will not buy their products again.

I used this as an egg replacement for my mums staple chocolate cake recipe! The cake was absolutely identical to the original! Would highly recommend

After having tried many different egg replacers, I have found that this gives the best results for pancakes (both fluffy American-style and classic English thin style). There is no compromise on flavour and texture. Can not recommend more. I have also used this for chewy choc chip cookies with brilliant outcomes. I find that it works best when you whisk the powder with water first until the mixture becomes frothy, then combine as an egg in your recipe.

This egg replacer is amazing. I am Czech and I use it to bake "Cukrovi", which is sweet little cakes and rum balls and fig salami etc especially for Xmas. My daughter and I decided to stop supporting cruelty to animals by eating plant based diet, meaning not consuming eggs and all animal products. This egg replacer made my cukrovi nice and fluffy. I tried to bake it beforehand without any egg or replacer but it was too dry. I can rely on this product now, and will but it always, thoroughly recommend it Xxxx
This review is basically a comparison between Orgran and Ener-G's egg replacers.I stopped using eggs when I was a teenager (well over a decade ago), and I started that journey with Ener-G, which works very well for me. However, out of curiosity (and a discounted price), I tried Orgran. Since I HAVE such a long history with Ener-G, I couldn't help but compare this to that. Consequently, the following is going to sound a bit like an advertisement for Ener-G's egg reaplcer. Perhaps, if I hadn't used it for so many years, this Orgran product would have satisfied me, but this was just a disappointment all around.First, Orgran tries to convince the consumer that you need LESS of this product (than Ener-G) to equal one egg -- only 1 tsp. compared to Ener-G's 1.5 tsp. ... MoreThis review is basically a comparison between Orgran and Ener-G's egg replacers.I stopped using eggs when I was a teenager (well over a decade ago), and I started that journey with Ener-G, which works very well for me. However, they instruct that a HEAPING tsp. be used, which, for all intents purpose, is 1.5 tsp -- the same amount that Ener-G calls for. Also, this product seems to be weaker than Ener-G (both as a binder AND a leavener) requiring that I use MORE than the recommended amount. If used as directed, I find it doesn't "gel" and "fluff" up as much as Ener-G's. I also find that the end product doesn't rise as much, and stays a little more moist than when Ener-G is used.Lastly, ounce for ounce, this is also a lot more expensive than Ener-G (almost double the cost), ESPECIALLY considering that MORE than the suggested amount is needed to reach an adequate egg substitute that provides consistent results to my satisfaction. I went through a box of this in no time, whereas, a box of Ener-G lasts me YEARS.If you're looking for a good egg replacer, skip this product and buy Ener-G.
So I have tried to make Yorkshire puddings and cakes with this,The Yorkshire pudding just came out like pancake batter with no rise and the cakes started to rise and then just went flat and I have now made something resembling half lemon cake, half biscuitI will just go back to making cakes with another recipe I have that does not involve this awful product
Since becoming a vegan have been searching for an egg substitute for home baking and this is perfect. Just tried it on a chocolate cake mix which turned out very well. Good stuff.
Being Vegetarian I don’t eat Fish and try my best to avoid Eggs where I can; so have bought this product and it works brilliantly, I recently made a batch of cakes and used Orgran No Egg powder product instead and tasted just great - no different to using eggs. I recommend you give it a try please. Rated 10/10
Poor alternative to egg. I have made banana bread and lemon cake with this product and it was inedible. They didnt cook well and the outside of the cakes were chewy. I will try again but poor product at the moment.
When I evaluate a food item, I look at two things: utility and consistency. By 'utility,' I mean the usefulness of a product; by 'consistency,' I refer to whether I can count on the same level of quality from batch to batch. As far as egg replacers go, Orgran No Egg Natural Egg Replacer (Gluten Free) is the best of the bunch. I know it's not going to lump up on me, and I can even mix it into the dry ingredients instead of always having to heat up the wet components of a recipe to use it. Not every recipe works when adding hot or warm liquid to the dry components--think scones, for example. I feel that I can always count on Orgran to offer a consistent product regardless of lot number. So far, I've ordered it twice and I've found no inconsistencies in how it ... MoreWhen I evaluate a food item, I look at two things: utility and consistency.
