With the right kit (harness etc) the brush cutter is well balanced and easy to use. Very quiet operation, especially when compared to my Stihl petrol brush cutter. The only problem was for the ordering of the backpack/harness/belt which confused the supplier as well as my self. It needs to be made clearer in the EGO brochures which accessories are needed with/ fit the BXC3800.

Absolutely excellent strimmer, having looked at EGO for the last year I finally bit the bullet and invested, without doubt one of the best I have used, no fumes, no vibration, smooth and very powerful looking forward to upgrading my other equipment to EGO.

After using Stihl kit for years. Local agent recommended EGO had tried Stihl not happy.After using demo back pack and cutter for weekend. Ordered unit have not looked back.Been using kit now for full session.(caravan and camp sites) hard standing ,paths play areas etc. Was going through 2 heads plus a year, this unit just 1 replacement at half the cost. Very impressed with battery life and how much less tired I feel in myself. No back ache from offset weigh. I’m 60 so this is a new and great feeling to be able to carry on doing a job l enjoy thank you. Comfortable kit. Well constructed, good replacement parts costs. Will and have recommended.Just got blower end season excellent for leaf fall.
Very powerful brush cutter - with the 7.5Ah battery you can get about 1 hour worth of cutting - which is perfect for me. The battery charges fast in about 30 mins.
What can I say other than this tool is so much nicer to use than a petrol cutter, less noise and vibration makes it a pleasure to use! 👍🏻
