This is the first Ego product I got that I do not like. I expected the tube to be cumbersome, and it is, but it cannot handle the leaves in my gutter, it only got half (or less) of them out. When you ramp up the air flow, the threaded tubes frequently start spinning and coming slightly undone, making it impossible to control. The nozzle connector/directional adjustment thing at the end gets out of whack easily as well. It’ll be decent for touch-ups but if you think this will eliminate the need for you to get up on a ladder to clean out your gutters you’re fooling yourself. And the strain on your upper body to use this thing is swapping one kind of annoyance for another. But seeing as I’ll be back up on the ladder before winter it’s just adding insult to injury

I have a 1.5s Cape Cod that I can reach with a Little Giant ladder but that adds a lot of time and energy to the task. After getting the muck cleaned out from years of previous owner neglect, the stuff that settles in the trough is loose. I tried the Craftsman Shop Vac attachment, but its too weak to really suck up the leaves with my 12 gallon unit. I didnt want to blow them out because of possibly forcing them under the edge, but I'm glad I tried this thing out. With my 650cfm, I cleared at least 150ft of gutter in 30 minutes and still had power to blow it all to the pickup pile.I'll get some extensions for clearing up some hard to reach roof spots. Its true what's been said about the twisting tho. The power of this thing will rotate parts of it right off. ... MoreI have a 1.5s Cape Cod that I can reach with a Little Giant ladder but that adds a lot of time and energy to the task. EGO (Chevron) - I'm going to fix this by installing plastic locking push tabs like what you hold wheel well covers to a vehicle body with. I should be able to pop them out for reuse a few times and they're cheap. You need to address this because its annoying!

I read other comments on how this attachment needs tape to hold the sections in place. I found that going counterclockwise around the house cleaning the gutters to be very frustrating as I experienced having to stop every few feet to tighten the sections. But when I go the other way around the house, that issue disappears as the force of the air leaving the curved end pieces keeps the threads of the straight sections tight. No need for tape. It does take a bit of practice as to where to stand and what angle to have the air enter the gutters but so far so good. The blowing of course works better when the leaves are dry in comparison to when they are wet.

First I bought one of these and it works great for low gutters. I needed at least 2 more sections so had to buy a second one to avoid using a ladder. They don't sell separate sections. A little expensive for me but glad to have the height. When you add 3 sections for a total of 7 it gets wobbly and heavy so you need to be strong to wrangle with it. Enjoy
My quest to find a gutter cleaning system (without using ladders) is finally over! I have the 650cfm Ego blower (the most powerful circa April2021) that helps to make this gutter cleaning kit very effective. You do get all the crud in the gutter blown down onto you underneath, but that's a small price to pay.The kit comes with 4 lengths of tube, which is sufficient for gutters at the first storey height, (I'm guessing 12 feet) but I have some that are higher, so I'm buying another kit just to get extra tubes (I wish these are sold separately- C'mon Ego!). I reckon it will work for the higher gutters. May no longer be a one-man job- I'll get the kids to help.I was pleasantly surprised that it seems very little force is lost after going through the kit.
This is a good idea and innovative engineering, but the actual usage is unsatisfactory. Parts disassemble during use and the job is only 60% complete. Too many leaves left, especially in corners and at joins with adjacent sections of guttering. It also does not remove any accumulated heavy sand, twigs or wet gunk in gutters. Returned.
Light weight makes this easy to handle for extended periods. However, the small diameter of the tube creates a restriction to air flow and significant backpressure. I got better results building my own out of 4-inch thin wall PVC sewer pipe and fittings which will slip over the normal discharge nozzle on the blower. This kit would be much improved if they increased the diameter to 3.5 or 4 inches and included at least one more elbow so you could direct the air flow horizontally in the gutter and not downward. The threaded connections do not disconnect but they also do not lock tight and loosen in use which require your attention every few minutes.Overall while the concept is good it is an inferior product with multiple shortcomings. I will be returning mine ... MoreLight weight makes this easy to handle for extended periods. However, the small diameter of the tube creates a restriction to air flow and significant backpressure. Does what it is supposed to do with dry leaves, but once leaves are wet, this thing does not work. Also because the way the threads are designed to screw the sections together, it is tedious and time consuming to add and remove sections to lengthen or shorten. This also takes up a lot of storage space when not in use.Considering the price it is not a great value, but I would buy it again if it were a lower price.
I have an EGO LB6504 blower. Now, I'm as big and strong as they come and running this thing full throttle with the gutter attachment took a little while to get used to... A few suggestions, wear a brimmed hat and goggles because this setup will send debris flying everywhere. Two, once arranged in a configuration to your liking, secure each threated tube section with some gorilla tape otherwise you will be bringing the setup down to retighten sections constantly. Three, be ready for a cleanup... It worked really well and I have only one complaint and that is the standard nozzle attachments that came with my ego blower do not fit on this... I wish they did because I could use it for cleaning off things like car garages (or other structures that cannot be stood upon) ... MoreI have an EGO LB6504 blower. good product, too expensive. Not lowes fault; it's EGO that's the thief. I tried one from another manufacturer that was less than half the price, but unfortunately it didn't fit my EGO. It was of the same quality and design as EGO's, and I suspect it was made by same manufacturer.
