I am very impressed. It is so much better than my petrol mower: lighter, better catching ability, much easier to use, cuts lower if that’s what you like, makes a better job, and of course quiet. I have a fairly large lawn so it takes three charges, but this is not an issue as it charges in about ½ an hour and I can do edges while I’m waiting.

I bought this mower after some extensive research. Mainly looking for battery life, depth of cut (I wanted a really low cut), ability to cut long grass without it bogging down and have other garden products to share the batteries.By far the best mower I have owned in regards to all of the above, and being electric, wow, incredible. Being self propelled, I thought a bit of a gimmick, well I can tell you it is a game changer. A few little hilly bits and instead of fighting to get the mower up and down, now it gently pulls me up.

Excellent mower, battery lasts long enough to do our small/medium lawn with power to spare. We love the self propel feature, while it uses more battery, it definitely makes it much easier to mow. Has the ability to cut the grass really low if needed.

Life-changing! Struggled for years with mower that wasn't fit for purpose - this has been amazing. So easy to use, powerful, does the job so well, charge lasts for ages, cuts through major overgrown grass. Have nothing bad to say. Little bit heavy to get up the stairs from doing the berms - but that is what son's are for.
This lawn mower should be any new home owner's essential gardening tool, when I lived with my grandparents I used to use their petrol lawn mower which was built very sturdy and heavy (some people like that) but because I'm not particularly large or built with muscle everytime I did mow the lawn with it I would be sweating alot and it was tiring pushing the chucky steal around up and down.now that I own my own home, I used to have someone mowing my lawn before lockdown which I would pay them every 3 weeks, but because they haven't been able to come during the lockdown period, and my lawn was looking very bad compared to my neighbours, I decided to do some research on electric gardening tools and mowers (I'm in no way a D.I.Y person but a tech enthusiast). I compared all the brands that were on the market that were electric, wireless, powerful and had other tools that had best in class battery + different tools that i can use it on.I came to the conclusion, EGO. Hands down by far the best design, largest battery, easy to operate for a small person like me, without breaking a sweat. Honestly mowing the lawn has never been so enjoyable and satisfying before, it's easy to clean and it folds up and fits in my garage without taking a large amount of space!*IN SHORT*- This is the Dyson of the lawn mowers ( if you own a Dyson, you know once you use it you'll never go back, and that's the feeling with EGO)**I bought this while there was the EGO promo which gave me an extra 5.0v Battery, so I'd recommend getting it with that
I bought this product a few weeks ago, to replace a petrol Masport mower. Very simple to set up, although the manual is just diagrams no written content. I ended up watching a You Tube video on how it all starts and adjusts. The battery took less time than drinking a cuppa to charge up. I mowed a wet lawn and in some parts very long, the mower handled it like it was nothing. The blade is very sharp and the catcher worked a treat.
I’ve had this mower for just over two months and my lawn has never looked better. So easy to use for a 76 year old. Just charge the battery and away you go. So many plusses ... Eco-friendly, no maintenance, mows or mulches in dry or wet conditions with power and ease, folds and stores easily, battery lasts full 1.5 hours of mow with 25% left. I am absolutely delighted with this mower and am so glad I replaced my heavy and clumsy 4stroke petrol mower with this dream machine.
I bought this mower on Boxing Day 2019, and been using it for both seasons since then. I have to say that I am so pleased I bought this exact unit. It is the latest design with all of the improvements that brings, from the improved motor startup, to the better deck design and the better speed control for the self-propelled feature. It's powerful enough to mow my lawns in Dunedin, and climbs around my steep section easily. This season I am going to purchase a second 5AH battery so that I can pair that up with the one that came with it. Currently I take two charges to mow my lawns and while it's not bad waiting the ~30minutes to recharge, I would love to drop a second battery in there.Pros: It's so quiet, I mow with my 1 year old in a backpack, with no hearing ... MoreI bought this mower on Boxing Day 2019, and been using it for both seasons since then. All the other ones currently offered my Mitre 10 have the previous designs, and do not include the improvements that EGO has made over the years.
I bought it last August and now it stopped working. Batteries only last for 30 mins. Then I have to charge it again. Not worth it to pay $1200 with all the trouble. If only there is a way to get my money back I wouldn't hesitate.
I had a ride on mower as i have quarteracrea lawn that has some steepish areas but didnt feel safe and was very loud. So I sold it and brought the self propelled EGO . This machine is fantastic , so well designed,. great grass catcher and did the job far better and quicker than the ride on.
