What should someone know about this product as part of a kit?….it’s weight!…admittedly, I’m nearly 70 but I’m well used to outdoor work. The trimmer/polesaw was was fine on the vertical but I’m struggling with anything at an angle involving upper body strength, even with the harness. When it’s fully extended it’s a beast! I’m a big fan of EGO products. I have a mower and a hedge trimmer but I’ve mixed feelings about the whole kit. The polesaw attachment is heavier than the trimmer. Fortunately I was able to use it in short bursts and trim enough over shorter periods of time. This is a useful piece of kit with a lot of flexibility built in.Be warned however, this tool is quite heavy and when at full extension can be a challenge to use.The major advantage is that you don't have to use a stepladder to prune those difficult to reach places.

Very happy with the performance of this tool, the reason I gave it 4stars is that it doesn’t come with a support strap, which would be useful to rest your arm’s in between cuts. We did mentioned this to our local supplier who contacted ego and they did send a complimentary strap which is used on a strimmer, but unfortunately it was not fit for purpose. However I have managed to come up with my own design and this works very well.
