Eilish by Billie Eilish Eau De Parfum 100ml

I had to blind buy this, so my review is to help anyone else thinking of doing the same. The initial spray was pretty disappointing. I expected a spicy hot chocolate/vanilla vibe (based on the scent profile.) Instead I got a bit of a herbal/slightly minty type of scent (perhaps from the red berries in the top note). Kind of like minty copper pennies. Not a fan. I resisted the urge to scrub it off, and glad I did. Eventually, the nice warm vanilla does come out in the drydown. The cacao is there too, but subtle (not as strong as Chocolate Greedy by Montale). I do still occasionally pick up the herbal note which keeps this from becoming the gourmand dream I was hoping for. The perfume is housed in a beautiful slate grey bottle in the figure Billie Eilish herself. I really like the housing, it looks feminine and I love how it looks alongside my other fragrances. It is a pull top style bottle that is easy to use. The scent is beautiful. It’s a woody green scent that I find feminine and quite sensual. Who doesn't love a good decent smelling $8-$15 body mist. Unfortunately, the HORRENDOUS smell of Eilish eau de parfum no. 1 makes the $8 average body mist seem like it should priced at gold. The scent is so light that it's hard to even believe that it's a perfume. It has forward smelling notes of vanilla, vanilla bean and a musky base note that all together have a light powdery scent. Its high way robbery that they are selling this cheap smelling water for its current price tag. I guess the only 2 reedeming qualities about this product is that the scent is so light that even after 5 sprays, you won't smell the perfume after 20 minutes because it has no staying power and the bottle itself is actually beautiful and something you can actually keep after you're done using this spray as bathroom poopurri.

AMAZING - Warm Scent Fans Rejoice!

I usually don't smell very good in perfume because the scent changes on my body chemistry, but recently found Bare by VS which was a hit on me. I wanted another perfume similar and found this and holy cow. AMAZING. I think bottom line I smell really good and warm scents, but I love this scent so much in general. On me and on the card, picture a snowy or fall day in a coffee + book shop, where they sell bakery goods like muffins and scones, and someone is smoking good tobacco or a fireplace in the back while making chocolate. Like, it's just so comforting and warm, and I feel completely snuggling. If someone is used to something floral, then you may not like this? But I feel it has a great smoky to sweet balance. So if you are like me and that sounds like you, and especially if you like warm comforting scents that are hints of chocolate, fresh muffins, fireplace, lemon, and coffee, TRY THIS. I have now found my two signature scents!! You will like it!

Best Perfume I've Owned

I am very picky with perfumes, most I think are too strong and just don't go well with my body chemistry so I usually never wear any. This is the first perfume i've had that not only is it subtle enough that it doesn't overwhelm my nose, but I also get constant compliments on the DAILY. Strangers have complimented it, my dentist the other day said I smell like cookies (lol), and several of my friends ended up buying it after they smelled it on me, my sister asked me today to get it for her birthday. I was astonished, I did not expect to like it as much as I did. I honestly bought it b/c the scents seemed appealing, I loved how extra the packaging was, and I love Billie. This is the only perfume so far I have ever been willing to splurge on. I will say, I had a friend who bought it and said she loved the way it smelled on me but it did not go well with her body chemistry and did not like the way it smelled on her so I feel like that's the general consensus when it comes to all the bad reviews about it.

The initial spritz fills the air heavily around me ( which I don’t mind at all). The smell is sweet vanilla and warm coconut with something deeper and more serious lurking in the final seconds. That last hidden note is what intrigues me the most about this perfume. I own plenty of gourmand varieties of sweets and vanilla, but this one distinctly leaves a different story with its end note that I smell in the beginning spritz. At first it caught me off guard but I suppose it reminds me of a musky powder in the likeness of Anais anais without the floral cascade that comes with it, just the lingering musky. After the scent developed on my skin it leaves behind a fragrance of sweet warm coconut vanilla with a slight toasted nutty cocoa hidden within. Okay, so my fiance was with me when I tested this at Ulta, he smelled it and fell in love and immediately ordered me a bottle. I personally didn't love it at first. However, after spraying it on myself I have fallen in love as well. The problem is that it doesn't last at all. I'm talking like 20 minutes and I can hardly smell it on my skin anymore and within an hour it's completely gone. It does last a little longer on clothing, but still fades within a couple hours. It really surprised me how short lived it is considering it is an eau de parfum and not a toilette. This would be my signature fragrance if it lasted a little longer.The bottle itself is cute, but is a little heavy and awkward to hold. I love amber and gourmand scents, some of my favorites are from the viva la juicy line. I currently wear Jennifer Lopez Promise as my daily perfume.I'd say that this is targeted more for a younger crowd as the sweetness is almost nauseating but could work for any age group because of the spicy, amber and musk tones. Because of it's short life I'd recommend it more for a date night or evening out. This is definitely not an all day perfume.

I knew I had to have it and even after getting it, before spraying it, the nozzle still smelled like liquified vanilla bean, which I was so stoked about, but then, upon spraying it on my skin and shirt, I started smelling vanilla mixed with other potentially unpleasant notes that I had not smelled before. It started smelling medicinal almost? But the longer I wore it, it started smelling more berry-ish, even a little cotton candy-ish?, which I was concerned about because I don't want to smell like a 12 year old girl wearing a cheap body spray lol. The vanilla comes back eventually and it smells almost like a smoky vanilla, which I'm fine with, but I will say that it doesn't last long and is not that strong. You would need to spray a lot to keep smelling it. Luckily this was a gift but I don't know if I'd repurchase for myself lol. I typically don't have an issue with perfumes smelling differently on my skin than as they did on the tester strip. Burberry Her is the only fragrance I have had that issue with before now. So sadly, this will not replace my all time favorite Juicy Couture Gold but it is not the worst thing I've smelled by far. I would say get the smaller size first and see how you like it. PS: This is now the quirkiest bottle I own aside from the Carolina Herrera Stiletto one haha.

I love gourmand scents, first of all, so this one definitely was already on my radar but I'm always too afraid to blind buy. The second I cold smelled it I just mostly got vanilla but I mean, that's wonderful. It had a little spice or something in the back of my nostrils so I liked it but it really was pretty simple on cold whiff. When I put it on my wrists BOY did this scent warm up and become complex. My chemistry definitely loves it. This fall season loves it. I rolled a little on my wrist cuffs and I could lightly smell it a couple hours later barely. My partner says he can still lightly smell an air of it on me but can't pinpoint it on me, so that's why I'm not knocking a star for it because apparently it's somehow just become a part of me. Anyway, on the skin the smell is still obviously gourmand, obviously vanilla but it becomes very surprisingly because it's suddenly obviously a perfume rather than some bath and body works item or body care at all. It makes itself clear it's a fragrance with a very specific spicy barely-there floral as a tiny note in there. It makes the vanilla transform into a little more of a caramel over time, I don't get marshmallow. I don't get coconut. At least not on my skin. I will absolutely be buying a full size when the sample is gone. It really suits my chemistry so well. On first smell I wouldn't think it'd be something I'd want but it's like this chose itself to be my scent.

I got the perfume the second it came out! it's been a few months and I put on 2 spritz right before i go to school. Everyone in my school enjoys the scent and always ask me what perfume i'm wearing. I even started carrying a mini refillable bottle that i got from daiso japan because people always wanted some. I am not a big fan of perfume but this perfume is perfect. The smell isn't too overpowering and it's just delightful! I am obsessed with it. I even sprayed my stuffed animals with it because it makes me feel cozy and I imagine that i'm hugging billie. That perfume has actually even helped me mentally, it makes me feel less alone and I feel like a child again. I have synesthesia with numbers, colors, songs, and smells.
