Good sander that does what you would expect. Easy enough to use. No idea how well it compares to other small sanders, but it certainly does the job well enough and is faster than doing it by hand. My only grumble would be that it is not the easiest to hold when you put the 2.0Ah battery in, as it fills most of the gap between the handle and dust-catcher - not a major issue and may be easier with the smaller battery (although I prefer having a battery that lasts longer). Also, not all the dust goes into the dust catcher, so don't assume that this will be dust free!

Just purchased this works well, sandpaper not secure to start with but as soon as you use it it’s ok. The dust collection is no good… filter not good enough! so you need to use vacuum. Very good for price.
It's slightly bulkier than Bosch sander of the same type, but it does the work well. Beware that it can only use 2Ah (or probably 2.5Ah) batteries. I have a 4Ah battery, which is too big that I have to remove the dust collector to attach it.
Best value for money-sturdy design and build quality. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to the vacuum functionality not being very effective. Overall very happy with the purchase.
Ive bought a few of the X change tools there especially handy for swapping batteries over when needed
Lovely little sander, bought for sanding some old furniture that I was restoring, worked a treat and having 6 sheets of paper means it can be used straight away, bought in conjunction with battery \ charger means it is a great addition to my collection of Einhell tools and batteries, working without wires and power points makes this tool very versatile, used with a 2.5AH battery and still managed to leave the dust extractor in place.
Bought this as I cannot find a Dewalt 18v xr detail sander(i have the orbital one which is great)Ok quality but in my opinion a major design flaw is that only certain einhell power x change batteries will fit with the dust collector fitted.i.e.the smaller capacity ones.Next moan is the hook and loop pad is not compatible with with generic sanding pads so more expense.It works fine but ultimately I think it is a bit of a dud.Not impressed and I will be now have to buy a different sander
Super easy to use. Click and go. Helpful that 6 sanding sheets are included. Use with smaller battery is better. Large battery a bit heavy and can't be used with the dust collection unit.
