The EV2360 uses a 22.5-inch IPS panel - the smallest of EIZO's frameless models. The small monitor is only 499mm wide and has a high native resolution of 1920 x 1200, displaying 11% more content than a conventional monitor with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), which means less scrolling in many applications. The EIZO EcoView Optimizer reduces power consumption by up to 30% by reducing backlight brightness and increasing signal gain. To ensure picture quality, the EcoView Optimizer function only increases the signal gain when the screen is displaying predominantly dark content, as the resulting reduction in brightness is almost imperceptible. The current FlexScan models are among the first monitors worldwide to meet the strict TCO Certified Generation 8 guidelines. These models also meet the strict international guidelines for ergonomics and energy savings such as EPEAT, EPA Energy Star and TÜV/Ergonomics.
