The expansion tank is equipped with a total of six G1/4" connections allowing users to select the most optimal setup for their cooling circuits. Three of these connections are located on the top one of which has a pre-installed nickel-plated brass inner tube that prevents coolant splashing in the reservoir when the top is used as an inlet. It also prevents air from being sucked in by the pump and the coolant from foaming. Each of these connections can also be used to fill the system or to add additional accessories thermal probes LEDs etc. A further three industry standard G1/4" connections are available in the lower case. The upgrade compared to the previous combo unit is the third available side port which can be used either as an optional inlet or outlet. A special rubber shock absorber is used to decouple the pump body from the mounting bracket to ensure silent operation without vibration-related noise. In addition horizontal and vertical positioning is supported to simplify pipe routing. The 60 mm diameter pipe is made of high quality acrylic material while the bottom of the expansion tank / top of the pump is made of CNC-machined black POM acetal. Sealing is provided by a high-quality EPDM O-ring. The integrated addressable D-RGB illumination is compatible with the common RGB synchronisation technologies of all major mainboard manufacturers.
