I received the Elastoplast XL waterproof plasters as part of the Superdrug Community to test and review. These are really good dressings with strong adhesion and easy application with the double layer backing. I applied one of these on my arm one handed so they are straight forward to apply, I then had a 2 hour bath to test their waterproof statement, they were definitely water resistant as when I got out of the bath and removed it my arm was damp underneath (not from wound exudate either - the fluid produced by large wound healing processes). I do think if I'd placed it on an area that was constitutionally submerged, it would have leaked far more and perhaps come off (I'm a nurse, so apt they sent dressings for me to test).
