on upgrading our appliances we wanted t stick with Electolux after previously purchasing a fantastic dishwasher. We didn't know what to expect from a gas burner as our previous was fine or so we thought. On replacing our old burner and cooking for the first time on our new 60cm cooktop we could not have been more wrong, The ease in which it cooks evenly and distributes the heat with ease. It is slick and stylish and cleans with a quick wipe of a cloth. When match with our steam oven and over head range hood we could not have asked for a better update to bring us into the present.

One of the knobs already had to be replaced as the outside coating was peeling off, as it probably couldn't with stand the heat. Also a burning smell like wire/silicone is coming internally from the hotplate. Not to impressed for the price I paid.

I bought this a month ago and happy with the black glass base which looks great. But I don't like the metal bars on the top which is heavy, bulge, rough and difficult to clean. It hides the beautiful glass base as the bars are so thick and high. Whatever rug you use to clean or touch the bar, it will have the trace on it (something will stick on the metal bars). Wish it could be replaced with light metal bars like my old stove, which is easy to clean and to see the stove itself. I must say, this bar on the top of the stove are the same for all brand of stoves, there is not much choice. Some sort of fashion? So ugly and unpractical!

I have always used gas and my new Electolux cooktop is amazing. Cooking is a breeze. Heats quickly and cooks to perfection. I feel as if my cooking time has halved because of the efficiency. So easy to clean needing to use only warm soapy water. This also goes for the matching electric oven amazing products
I bought this as part of a kitchen rebuild. Took the time to evaluate a number of products and finally selected this brand and model. Selling points were the wok element advertised as a very hot and powerful burner and the glass/ceramic surface which would be easy clean.Overall we are happy with the appliance however feel slightly let down on the power of the wok element. We felt it should have a more grunt and certainly enough to get the wok to the high temperatures expected.The cleaning has worked out as we thought and like this surface compared to the traditional steel. The fact it is flat also helps.
Love our new stove...one thing in particular...not sure if you've ever had the problem of not being able to turn a gas burner low enough to just simmer...I always check it's possible to turn burners really low and at first I thought there was a problem because one burner was really weak even at full power...then i found out this is a special low energy burner....it's great to get something boiling on a regular burner and then put it on to this small burner to boil / simmer. On the lower setting it keeps eggs boiling. on the higher setting it keeps a big pot of pasta sauce at a perfect simmer!
I’ve had this product for only a few weeks. I’ve upgraded from a cheap entry level Technika of the same size. In comparison this new product is easier to clean, easier and safer to use. The dual flame on the wok burner is great if you need precise flame control. The only down side to this product is the control knobs are metal and can retain heat if the flames on the two front burners are on full heat for a period of time. Hot but not unsafe.
I have been using this cooktop for about 1 month. It is easy to use and provides good, even heat. The role burner provides great heat with the added option of reducing the heat yo low. Easy to clean although it has a difficult strip gown the centre between the guide strips.

I'm using it on natural gas (not LPG).Pros:- It looks great (from a distance, which is what matters)- The auto gas cutoff is great for safety (for if the flame burns out)- You can lower the flame to the lowest setting and it won't blow out easily.- The layout is fantastic. Nowhere else can you get a 60cm with the wok burner on the bottom left, and in a square shape. This could be a safety issue.- I couldn't find anything saying if the cast iron removable frame is dishwasher safe.- You can't really clean the glass as whatever you do will leave a weird cloudy rainbow effect on it. Personally I don't care about this.- The unit seems designed to sit about 3mm proud of the bench. This is because the glass is bonded to metal underneath and then the foam seal connects the metal and bench.That seems like a lot of cons but I think it's the best unit available in this size!
Got our new cook top about two weeks ago and already I am very pleased I chose it. It looks stylish it works brilliantly in terms of even heat cooking and simmering. Love the wok burner very good. Takes the biggest and smallest of pots and very easy to control. Also easy to clean.
