I really wanted to like this machine, it's simple to use and seems well built. However, the machine likes to move especially at high RPMs. Every day or so I will have to push the machine back to its place. Electrolux said that we are not loading the machine right (?). The machine will move even with a half load. We balanced the machine and added a non-slip mat and that didn't help. The other issue was using the Eco mode. It takes 5-6 hours to finish a cycle, so while the ratings are good it is simply not practical for a busy family lifestyle.Appliances Online were great at resolving this issue. I wouldn't shop anywhere else.

Was so hard to choose a washer and a dryer after using my mums my whole life (hers being top of the range expensive of course) so finding one that was affordable and still good was hard. I chose this one and the 8kg Condenser dryer due to the relatively good reviews in comparison the other cheaper machines had quite poor reviews. Myself i'd have ratherd a black machine or something that looks a lot more modern I guess but functionality wise it is a great machine. I love the daily 60 setting, I can get so munch done in one day! Also the delivery guys from Harvey Norman were super nice and even informed me about how to install the draining part of the condenser dryer.Overall, so far, super happy with this machine and would recommend for a couple or really small ... MoreWas so hard to choose a washer and a dryer after using my mums my whole life (hers being top of the range expensive of course) so finding one that was affordable and still good was hard. Good washing results, quiet, doesn't jump during the spin cycle on the timber floor which means the feet can be adjusted adequately.I am very happy with the number of programs available. I find more programs means more confusion which one to choose, more time consuming, more things that might need repair and last but not least more cost. Keeping things 'simple' is what made me choose this model plus the fact that I had an Electrolux before. The only thing that doesn't work on my machine is the 'extra spin option'. According to the manual it is as easy as pressing “Spin” and “Option” at the same time until the 'extra spin' LED lights up. I haven't managed to get this LED to light up, yet.

I was very skeptical at buying a front loader. Renovating is what made me finally give in. It has taken a while to get used to it, but it is definitely worth getting.I researched a few models, especially price, and the opinions of two friends with the same brand machine. I was narrowed down to two, chose the Electrolux.Very happy with the cost and build of the machine, everything has washed really well... dare I say, even better than my top loader.Cons.Cycles do take longer. But apparently all front loaders are like so. Found the 60 min and Quick 15 are the best to use. I don’t want to wait anything up to 4 odd hrs for my load to wash!Pros.Washing does come out great. Except... towels have been way too hard when dried. I’m yet to work out if that is from the spin cycle option at 1200rpm-think that certainly was half the issue, or, if I need to add two washing pods instead of one. One pod is certainly less laundry liquid than what I would normally use in liquid in the top loader for towels. I did wash brand new towels for their first wash on the Quick 15 at 800rpms. The towels I put in the dryer were perfect, the towels I put on the line weren’t as stiff as the older towels. All in all, a great washing machine at a great price. There’s so much out there that it gets all too confusing. Coming from someone who detested front loaders, I am really happy with it, and can absolutely recommend purchasing it. I’m slowly becoming a convert.
My machine broke down after 3 weeks. I bought mine from Clewers Betta store in Clare. Apparently, the belt came off due to overloading. We never had this issue with our old Electrolux but after over a decade of faithful service the bearing failed, possibly we had accidentally overloaded it too as towels when wet are very heavy. Hardly the fault of the machine, admittedly operator error on our part. Still very happy with our machine and the prompt service we received, so thoroughly recommend this product, but advise people to be careful when washing towels and other items which become very heavy when wet. Split the loads to avoid problems.
My new Electrolux Ultimatecare washing machine is definitely the best thing that has happened to my life in 2020. Everything else has been unreliable, and disappointing, but at least the laundry has been easy with a machine that always delivers excellent results, can be set to a timer, offers adjustable programs, and a range of cycles from a 15min quick wash to an intense vapour wash option. I knew I could expect quality due to my previous experience with Electrolux washing machines, but this machine exceeds my expectations, and reduces my work load. More importantly I got it for an excellent price and with a perfect delivery experience. I can't recommend it highly enough.
I am a top loader person, (tried frontloader 6kg different brand years ago hated it) but I really needed extra space in my laundry, I checked reviews and the advice to go up a size from the friendly staff member. Thank you. I have huge queen thick blanket and washed it beautifully on the 60 min wash extra rinse on 60 deg. I have put in a set of queen and single sheets plus quilt covers and pillow slips, with a few tea towels “gently squashed in”. Thinking this will test it. 60 min cycle 60 deg extra rinse omg very happy. This machine has exceed my expectations, and when i find the extra sock I can add it in its just started phase. If you are hesitating about buying a frontloader I truly do recommend this machine.
This is my 2nd Electrolux front loader. First one was used most days and lasted 13 years.I am still learning to love my new one. It has some brilliant features eg. the 15 minute light load cycle. There are many washing choices - that's my problem- I haven't worked out the best options or how to use them eg. to use just a spin dry cycle which I often need.Instruction manual is not so easy to read. However despite my minor issues this is probably one of the best of its type for the money. If it goes for another 13 years I will be very happy
We purchased this washing machine today after hours of reading reviews and thought it would be the ideal machine for our family. After getting it home we were eager to start using it and so we did! At first we were both super excited that this washing machine was already starting to wash our clothes better then our old one had because yes our excitement and age made us stand there for 5 minutes watching the first wash start but after that initial excitement wore off a little we decided we wouldn’t watch the whole hour long wash and went our seperate ways. That was until the last fifteen minutes of the wash, when I started to hear a strange and very loud noise from our bathroom. Perplexed I decided to have a look because surely it wasn’t our brand new expensive ... MoreWe purchased this washing machine today after hours of reading reviews and thought it would be the ideal machine for our family. That was until the last fifteen minutes of the wash, when I started to hear a strange and very loud noise from our bathroom. Perplexed I decided to have a look because surely it wasn’t our brand new expensive machine, alone I’ve trudged to the bathroom and to my complete and utter shock I have found our washing machine trying to relocate our bathroom sink. I was taken aback how could a washing machine move with more force then a bulldozer.I’ve quickly run out to grab Jacob and show him what was happening, though unfortunately it had stopped before I was able to and I was left looking like a crazy person telling my partner about the flying washing machine. At this stage I didn’t know if I had imagined it and was confused to say the least. Then suddenly without warning it’s started to happen again, both Jacob and I ran in to see the washing machine try to absolutely demolish our bathroom, he’s jumped on the left of it trying to stop it from ripping our sink from the wall while it’s crashed and smashed through the other side. Jacobs straddled the washing machine like a raging bull trying to stop the damage from happening, Shelbee was screaming in the background scared that her daddy was about to be thrown out the window by this mechanical beast and I was preparing for the loss of my beloved Jacob. But alas he defeated the washing machine and we were graciously gifted a fresh loud of washing for our efforts.
This washing machine has been fantastic so far. I have had it for about 6 months and I'm so glad I chose this one. its just my partner and myself so we don't need to do large loads of washing. the quick 15 minute cycle is perfect for just a few stinky work clothes at the end of the day. it handles a decent amount of heavier loads, but its better to do lots of small ones. i had read in previous reviews about the barrel conking out, though this is due to overloading the barrel. front loaders work against gravity, not with it - like top loaders. iv been looking after it well and feel it will last a very long time. if anything goes wrong with it - its Electrolux; they will sort it out top notch.
