I've tried a few different brands of washers over the years and this is by far the best. I have an Electrolux dryer that is fantastic, so thought I'd try an Electrolux washer, and I wasn't disappointed! I love that it only has one hose to connect to the cold tap, and if you want a warm wash it heats the water in the actual machine. It's quiet when running and the clothes come out really clean. Love the large capacity of the 9kg, suits our family of 4 perfectly. I really like the 15 min quick cycle and the 39 min regular cycle, and especially how they're not locked in to a certain temperature or spin speed. There are heaps of other cycles as well, but I haven't used them yet. Best machine I've had in 25 years! I will only be buying Electrolux brand from now on.

Iâve had this washing machine a few months now and we love it. You have so much control over the cycles you can basically customise your own cycles to suit. Previously owned a Samsung and a fisher and Paykel (Both front loaders) which didnât last long and didnât wash as well. Had a small issue at first but Annie was Quick to contact me and help which was much Appreciated!! Would definitely buy from here again just because of her!! Cheers Folders And Annie your a star. Will be coming back soon to buy the matching dryer.

I bought this almost 5 years ago. After 2 years the motor died and we had to get it fixed. Fast forward 2 years later and it begins to make a loud noise on the spin cycle. A couple of weeks later when the door was opened after a spin, smoke billowed out and the whole machine was broken. Before that it washed the clothes well, clothes were clean, spun nicely dry and the quick wash was great only 18 minutes.

I havenât had a front loader before and was a bit unsure how I was going to like it. This machine is going well and washing well. I have had a few teething problems which Iâve sorted through via Google search. The towels are hard now, apparently itâs because there is so little water, the trick is to have the machine setting to spin for much less time and strength. Sometimes the powder is not all used, Iâve found it requires so little powder, I guess the clothes are clean, it seems weird to use so little detergent
Pros Multiple short wash cycles under an hour Lots of cold washes to start fromQuiet and well balancedAbility to add forgotten item at the beginning of wash cucle. Easy accessible detergent /fabric softner compartment Cons Shorter wash cycles seem to leave more water in the clothing/linenBedding cycle only spins @800 makes drying time longer. Overall very good machine and glad I purchased it.
I bought this machine a month ago to replace my 9 year old 7kg LG. I'm very happy with my purchase and loving all the extra functions my old machine did not have. Also those extra 2kg do make a difference in a family of five. I do not use washing powder (just liquids) or fabric softeners so I cannot leave feedback on that. Here are some pros and cons I've discovered so far: + The door is big and makes it so much easier to wash blankets and bedding + 60 minute wash is just simply great + Wool program works perfectly + My old machine did not have extra rinse so I'm loving this feature as my youngest has very sensitive skin + Add clothes for the first couple of minutes - there is always that one sock on the floor! + Time manager increases/reduces the washtime in Cotton ... MoreI bought this machine a month ago to replace my 9 year old 7kg LG. Also alarm sounds can be muted. + Vapour option removes persistent smells from kids clothes + Vapour Refresh program refreshes clothes without detergent, I trialled it on couple of musty jumpers and it worked. Also removed wrinkles. - Only Cotton and Energysaver programmes wash full 9kg - Spin is a bit lazy compared to my old machine. However nothing comes out wrinkled. If more spin is required, extra spin is only 10mins. - Liquid detergent flap in the drawer is not working properly. Detergent was left in the drawer and spread around again during the rinse cycle. So I just lifted the flap up in the powder position (so basically I'm not using it) and all is well.
Do not buy an Electrolux washing machine of any model ! They are the worst machines out if I could rate 0 i would they will wreck your clothes and stain them. Also the most horrible people to deal with they won't help you or acknowledge you or the problem even under warranty the tech guys are told to blame the client i know from experience. Most crappy washing machines out and unprofessional staff bad reputation save yourself the trouble and money.
The washing machine is good. I like the new door design. It's reasonably quiet until the load is over but then it reminds you again and again and again (IDK ... I think 5 times over one and a half minutes) that the load is finished. This model has not offered a user-select cycle - you have the set programmes and for each one there are a few things you can adjust, but there is no real freedom. Some wash types simply do not have a cold temperature option, for example. And you can't choose a programme you mainly like but have a longer or shorter time. It's really frustrating. I had an older model and replaced it with this, but wish I had opted for something that allows me to design a wash myself. I have more experience than these engineers with how I want to wash.
I had a top loader for 25 years before it finally broke downâŠso I was very fussy about the machine that would replace it. I did some online research and asked family and friendsâŠand Electrolux came up with high recommendations. So glad I chose this one! So easy to use with one big dial with many multiple optionsâŠincluding a 15 minute quick wash, delicates, spin only etc. Thereâs also an option to âpause and addâ clothes early in the wash cycle. The clothes come out very clean and Iâve noticed I rarely have to iron now. This Electrolux machine has definitely made the chore of washing clothes much easier!
I purchased this Electrolux front loader washing machine because I also have an Electrolux 8kg dryer, so it made sense to have machines with the same load capacity, and a brand I know and trust. My dryer was only purchased in June 2022. Imagine my surprise then, when the washing machine was being installed and the power cord is much shorter than the cord for the dryer. I am incredibly fortunate that I have two power points at different levels on the wall in my laundry, so I had a power point the washing machine could be plugged into â otherwise I would have had the additional expense of having to have another power point installed, as the instruction manual for the washing machine explicitly states it should not be used with a double adaptor, extension cord or ... MoreI purchased this Electrolux front loader washing machine because I also have an Electrolux 8kg dryer, so it made sense to have machines with the same load capacity, and a brand I know and trust. I am incredibly fortunate that I have two power points at different levels on the wall in my laundry, so I had a power point the washing machine could be plugged into â otherwise I would have had the additional expense of having to have another power point installed, as the instruction manual for the washing machine explicitly states it should not be used with a double adaptor, extension cord or multi-plug adaptor. Iâve used it with a number of different washing options and it does a good job. It does, however, start with an awful crunch noise no matter what function Iâm using, which is a little disconcerting. The maximum spin speed for any type of load is 1200 RPM (there are different brands out there with a higher RPM, so if you are relying on drying your clothes with a dryer instead of line hanging to dry, you may want to consider a washing machine capable of the higher RPM, as the items will come out of the machine with less moisture in them). I can definitely tell the difference in the slower spin cycle on this machine compared to my last machine which had the 1400 RPM. Interestingly, the only washing programs that will take the full capacity of the machine (ie 8kg) are the following programs: Cottons, Energy Saver (also for cottons), and Full Wash 60 (also for cottons). All other washing programs are limited to 1.5kg, 3kg, 4kg or 5kg. The shortest wash cycle available is the âQuick 15â which is for lightly soiled synthetics or mixed fabrics, and is only for a 1.5kg load. The next shortest cycle available is the âDaily 39â, which is suggested for daily wear coloured cotton clothing with low levels of soiling. Otherwise there is the âFull Wash 60â which is for a mixed load and it will take 8kg. It also has a âTub Cleanâ function which comes in handy for getting rid of the build up of residue if, like me, you normally use either cold water or low temperature for your washes. It does also suggest to occasionally use water softening powder in a separate wash if you live in an area with hard water. You can use it with either powder or liquid detergent, you just need to adjust the flap on the detergent drawer depending on which you are using. It does suggest not to use a gelatinous or thick liquid detergent though. Same with the fabric softener, if you are using a thick one, it recommends diluting it with water. It has a âRinse Holdâ function so that the machine will keep turning the clothes to prevent creasing. If your load is significantly dirty, you can increase the time of the wash. What they call the âDelay Endâ option is what I would call a âdelayed startâ â so if you want the washing to finish in 6 hours time, the machine will do that. I tried this function and it was very accurate. I note the machine says the cycles wonât always take as long as what the machine timer says the cycle will take when it first starts. It will adjust the time depending on what it determines during the load sensing phase. It also has a âHygienic Careâ function where it will tumble the load in vapour after the rinse cycle. They say this is more effective with a half load rather than a full one, and obviously only use it with clothing that can take higher temperatures. There are also functions for doing a pre-wash and an extra rinse. Fortunately, you can also turn off the annoying âend of washâ music that it plays.
