Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil 195 ml

Elemis products in general are super effective and do their job well. And this one fills that expectation. You can see it’s well loved and really takes off makeup and spf well! It is a thicker oil so I’d recommend double cleansing, this product first and then a cream cleaner. That being said, my eyes do burn with it. If you’re not sensitive to that, I’d recommend!

BEAUTIFUL!

I love this product! Even if my skin is on the sensitive side, it smooths and hydrates my skin beautifully... A little goes a long way, I always, double cleanse but to be honest even with a thick load of makeup on one cleanse with this omega oil takes every scrap of makeup off, leaving your skin nourished and cared for. I love the simplicity of this oil as you can take a heavy eye makeup of really easily without any effort...

Best facial oil to take off makeup

I have a problem with dry skin. All the face washes I have tried kept stripping my skin and making my face very dry. This facial oil saved my life. It takes off all my make up without any harsh, rubbing or pulling. Leaves my face feeling hydrated and not greasy afterwards. Definitely cleans my skin. I’m very impressed and I will buy another.

Can’t praise this enough!

I was given this as a gift by a friend and it was the first time I’d used it, although I am a huge fan of elemis and use it regularly.A little goes a long way, when massaged into skin,after rinsing off and patting dry with a towel, left super soft plump skin, feeling great.Pump dispenser means even distribution of oil into palms and great size bottle too.Really removes the grime of the day and doesn’t leave skin feeling heavy or greasy.Utterly fabulous results each time. Highly recommend.

I can't stop touching my face....

I have just tried this for the first time as part of the Pro Definition trio which arrived today. After shaking the spray bottle as instructed, I used two pumps onto damp skin and I can only say "wow". My face feels as smooth as glass, with no tautness and pure comfort; so much so that I nearly didn't use my spray Apricot toner afterwards!I have received this Omega Rich Cleansing Oil in various formats over the years as part of TSVs, but shied away from it and usually gave away as presents for my friends. No more. I am almost 71 and this beautifully smelling oil is just the ticket, even for removing mascara.

Light and pleasant

This oil is very light but doesn’t do much by way of moisture for me. I like the light smell and it’s great while rinsing off but just doesn’t have a moisturizing effect beyond the shower. Im in my 40s so maybe just for my age, it’s not enough. I was hoping to avoid using an additional after bath oil/lotion.It’s light and pleasant but won’t stay on the menu

Love this cleanser

I've used this cleanser for many years, possibly since it was first launched. I used other Elemis cleansers previously, but once I started using this one, I haven't changed again. Perfect for my older, post menopausal skin, not drying and not oily. Removes eye make up too. Easy to use and leaves skin feeling soft. Would recommend for any age.

Made my skin more oily and prone to breakouts

For years I was using the Elemis Lime Blossom cleanser because it was perfect for my oily/combination skin. I was so upset when Elemis discontinued it at the beginning of this year. As an alternative, I was recommended to use this omega-rich oil cleanser. I've been using it over the last 6-7 months, and sadly it's done my skin no favours. It made my skin more oily and prone to breakouts, which have scarred my face in one particular area. Two weeks ago, I decided to stop using it and already my skin is less oily. I found there was no substance to this cleanser at all, and would not recommend it for those with oily/combination skin.

Slightly messy

I received this as part of the last TSV , I usually use C&P in the morning and use this oil at night , I do find the pump pushes out quite a lot of product so gets a little messy on my fingers but it all gets to the right place in the end , but definitely messier than C&P . The smell is wonderful . I use Liz Earle cotton clothes to remove it which I moisten so makes it easy to remove . I do also use it on my eyes to remove waterproof mascara. I saw another lady's review and she used it for that so I gave it a go . Once I have massaged the majority of the oil on my face I carry the residue over closed eyes and gently wipe my fingers over my lashes . It takes off the mascara and I have had no watery , sore eyes at all . This broke me out

I was looking forward to using this oil cleanser as my first step cleaning routine, but I was little disappointed. I was hoping it would remove my eye make-up, but it left a oily residue and make-up still on my eyes. About a week into using the cleanser, I started to break out with tiny little bumps all over my chin area and the pore was extremely clogged. At first, I thought it was my hormone that was the culprit during my cycle, but once I stopped using the cleanser, my skin calm down. I wanted to make sure it was the cleanser that broke me out, so I started using the cleanser again, but sure enough it broke me out again. I really wanted to like this cleanser, because it is a well known brand.
