Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm

This is one of my favorite products that I actually received in an advent calendar. Little did I know that it unlocked a new obsession of mine. This product is amazing and I haven’t found something that could compare to this. I typically go about my nightly routine by using a generic makeup wipe. And I always went about thinking that just using one makeup wipe really got everything off of my face. Little did I know about double cleansing. This has changed my skin seriously. After I worked it into my skin I grabbed a damp washcloth and removed the product to discover that makeup wipes don’t actually take everything off like you think that do. This product really took everything off my face all the old makeup and oil. My skin always feels so clean and refreshed after using this. I would highly recommend this product. And definitely add that extra step to double cleanse!

BEST Cleansing Balm I have ever tried. EVER 5*

Tonight was the first time I have ever tried the cleansing balm and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. The therapeutic aroma transported me from the comfort of my home straight to a luxurious spa. It was absolutely divine. I had layers of makeup on today including foundation, concealer, face powder, cream bronzer, powder bronzer, powder blusher, lipstick and highlighter so it was a great test to see how the cleansing balm performs.Massaging the balm into the skin; speedily melted the makeup while transforming into a cleansing oil (balms and oils are my favourite textures).Using warm water to dampen the Elemis cloth (included with the cleanser) and swept away 95% approx of makeup. Best balm on the market bar none!

I have used this balm for several years now, as soon as I decide to have a break and use something else I really noticed the difference very quickly. Firstly, it smells stunning. Like being in a spa. When you warm it in your hands it turns into a luxurious oil. Make up slides off your face as soon as it’s applied.My face is always squeaky clean when I have use this. Leaves my skin so soft and fresh looking. The reviews speak volumes, possibly the best Elemis product in their entire range if I’m honest. The only gripe that I have is that it’s now 5mg less and 2 pounds more, but absolutely everything has gone up so I understand why this has happened. Cleansing Balm

I absolutely love Elemis Pro-Collagen range, this cleansing balm is superior to any other balm I have used. Last summer I purchased the Summer Bloom scented version, which I was going to get again, but it was out of stock, so I got the original instead. It is the same high quality thick, smooth balm, luxurious, with lovely fragrance. You don't need to use a lot, a little does go a long way and you get a decent sized tub, so good value. You also get a cleansing cloth included in the package. I always use them, cleanse with this balm, followed by the marine cleanser. Twice a week I follow with the Papaya Enzyme Peel and Pro-Collagen Marine Mask - (great combination) and they are some of the products used when I had an Elemis Facial in John Lewis. I swear by this product. I use it every single day! I use it for several different things; I use it as a make up remover, it melts away my waterproof mascara. I use it as a face mask, I put it on before I go to bed and leave it on to soak in as I sleep. I use it for a facial, I massage it in and use a facial cloth to remove it and clean out my pores. Sometimes I don’t wear make up for months, and using the cleansing balm daily, still leaves my cloth dirty, which just shows how much my skin NEEDS this products. You will not regret buying this product! I also love that the 100g tub comes with their custom face cloth, it’s so soft and luxurious. I adore this product, it’s made me feel more confident within myself and I will use it for the rest of my life!

Good cleanser

I'll admit that I'm not overly impressed with this cleanser, it does make my skin feel very tight after use but... I do feel it is having a good effect on my skin. I was using this twice a day; once in the morning and once in the evening but I've reduced it to once a day now because I think it was drying out my skin a lot. I noticed that the moisturisers just weren't working as well as I was expecting until I stopped using this as much. The tutorials do recommend twice a day but I think if you have sensitive skin you might find that to be too much, I think once in the morning, with a wash-off calming mask in the evenings is probably better!The texture is a bit syrupy, sticky and oily. The texture of this cleanser is something I am sure I will get used to over time.

I love Elemis

Elemis are one of my favourite brands as far as skincare. That said I am at the beginning of my skincare journey and I haven't tried any other preventative treatments as yet. I am yet to experience any visible signs of aging beyond fine lines, though I'm told it will all start to happen at my age. So I'm getting a head start where I can! I've been using Elemis products for six months now, and I cannot say I'm noticing my difference except for an improvement in how my skin pigmentation. I've stopped using some of the more expensive products they sell for the time being(for instance the Ultra Smart Pro-Collagen Eye Duo creams), but I cannot give up this cleanser which is a must for me, that and their Pro-Collagen Rose Marine Cream. And while the lessening of my rosacea was unexpected, it was certainly a welcome side-effect, considering I was aiming purely for preventative treatment! This works as a lovely massage oil for the face neck and hands. It does my slightly red and hardened knuckles wonders(the skin isn't hard anymore and they're only slightly pink now.) I know it's meant for the face but it works elsewhere too!

I really wanted to hate this because it is expensive, which is why I hadn’t tried it yet even though I’ve wanted to for so long. I didn’t actually know about these smaller pots so in a spare of the moment decision I decided to add this to my order.THIS SMELLS INCREDIBLE! I think it smells like patchouli oil? I’m not sure, the scent is strong but in a really deep enjoyable way. I have a big round oily face (nice) and I wasn’t sure how a balm would work for me but you don’t even need much, I think this tiny pot will last me over a month if I use it every day? I wash my face then I use this before toning - I have no idea if that’s the right order but my skin looks and feels so lovely! In fact I’d say I look less oily but not dried out? My skin looks one colour all over for hours after I use this and I usually have some redness somewhere.I love this and I’m so mad about that! I didn’t want to fall in love with something which I consider to be expensive but it’s happened now. I also let my husband use it and he has dry skin, it was fantastic for him as well so I’d say it works for all skin types.

I actually first received this beautiful cleaning balm in my Christmas advent calendar and i am so pleased that I did because it is now, my absolute favourite product!I am on the wrong side of 50 and I started to experience extreme redness on my forehead,and cheeks, a few years ago.My skin suddenly changed and became very sensitive and uneven. I suppose that it is the menopause.I went to the doctor but unfortunately it seemed that I was unable to continue with the products that I was used too. Everything I used resulted in very red markings under my eyes and across my cheeks.I tried so many products that were recommended for this purpose but nothing really changed.Anyway, I tried this one evening and I have been using it ever since.
