The Elite Custom Race Cage Plus is a revolutionary product and over the past decade has become almost ubiquitous in the world tour peleton. Over 2014 and 2015 Elite have been working with some of their most trusted athletes to recieve feedback on where the Custom Race Cage can be made better. By increasing the size and changing the alignment of the tension rubber Elite were able to eliminate the 'bottle creep' that could affect the old design in gritty conditions. Reshaping the sides has also allowed greater flexibility in bottle insertion and reduced binding during removal. Being designed in Italy the Custom Race has a great aesthetic appearance and can blend in with all bikes looks. Weighing in at 38 grams and constructed from a durable Glass Fibre-reinforced polyamide the cage is lightweight and will last a life time.
