This fragrance is really nice. It has it's own style and elegance. Definitely floral perfume with a hint of sweetness and powdery undertones. The fragrance itself is not overwhelming. I think can be wear all year long, day or night. Package is so nice. Slim, high, glass and very elegant bottle with delicate gold details. The shape remains me skyscrapers from New York Manhattan 😃

This perfume is so elegant and pretty. I find it a beautiful mix of floral and spicy and soft. It is wearable in both the summer months and the winter months. I always feel a little bit special when I wear this perfume. It is such an affordable option also, so I can wear it as nuch as like without having to save it because of its price. Just love it. Many perfumes give me an instant headache, but not this one. Tips : Use the "spray, delay and walk away" technique for a subtle finish that lasts all day. Ideal for Anyone wanting to feel beautiful.

This is an older perfume most women swear is perfect for the cooler months, but I am only now finding this to be enjoyable as the temperatures are warming up and we move into Spring. Red Door is a loud, powdery floral with a huge floral bouquet. The opening is very intense and can be difficult for me because I am sensitive to tuberose and find it to be literally suffocating. Stifling headache inducing powder and tuberose is all I smell when I first spray this fragrance. I used to only spray it on clothing to try to like it but couldn’t get to the dry down. Once I started to spray it on my skin, I understood why this perfume is still being sold in high volume after so many years. Once I started to spray it on my skin, I understood why this perfume is still being sold in high volume after so many years. Once this fragrance settles in my skin for a few minutes, it starts to become a beautiful powdery, warm, rose and jasmine fragrance that dances on a base of honey with the tuberose note floating above. It all works together in a way that smells amazingly sexy and feminine to my nose. I find myself burying my face into my robe or shirt to smell the sweet honey and floral scent anytime I am wearing it now. I would consider this a more mature floral appropriate for a woman in her 30’s or older. It is intense and can become overwhelming when more than a couple of sprays are used. I don’t recommend wearing this to dinner. The tuberose note seems to make it difficult to eat or enjoy flavors when I wear this. However, this is very affordable and easy purchased at department stores or TJ Maxx at reasonable prices. It smells more modern than most fragrances from the 80’s or 90’s. It is not a safe blind buy, but it is a nice departure from the modern fragrances of today.

5th Avenue class

A beautiful perfume that is quite light but elegant. I cannot imagine anyone not liking this so a safe present buy. An older perfume but one that doesn't scream 'old lady', and my grandaughter would be just as happy with this as I am. I was a bit concerned as I have had Red Door previously which was too strong and headache inducing for me. 5th Avenue had good reviews and is much softer. It might not last as long but I am happy to spritz again during the day if necessary. It was going to be a present - and it is, but for me now, and is a keeper.

Beautiful but please keep it original

I don’t mean to sound disrespectful as I understand there’s a financial crisis so maybe you are using cheaper Ingredients or maybe some new ingredients are animal friendly now that times are changing and everyone is vegan etc. it’s just that I have been using this EDP since I was 12 (now 36) and I was smell a sudden difference. It’s like it’s been diluted down, it doesn’t last as long. I could once spray this onto my pulse points after my morning shower and could still smell it by the evening. Just beautiful. I felt so comforted by it. Now I can’t smell a thing! Please don’t change the old classics. This has such a sentimental value for me and many others also. Sometimes things aren’t just an EDP

Elegant and feminine
10 August 2021

This fragrance was launched in 1996. It is housed in an elegant tall bottle which reminds you of the skyscrapers in NYC. It's very much a floral fragrance (lily-of-the-valley, magnolia, lilac, jasmine, tuberose, bulgarian rose etc) with some citrus, musk and vanilla. Despite the strong edges in the design of the bottle and the golden colour of its contents, it is not a 'power' perfume, it is predominantly a floral and feminine fragrance that has the right balance of notes - very wearable, not overpowering yet lasts well. For me, it is a classic and elegant fragrance that won't go out of style. It lasts quite well on me. Even though you can buy it quite cheaply at chemists and pharmacies these days, it does not smell 'cheap'.

Ive always worn Elizabeth Arden scents, from way back when with Sunflowers to now with Red Door. Love the scent, the smell lasts all day without being overpowering. A few small spritz goes a long way, it doesnt take much. The scent is hard to describe, it has floral notes with an undertone of a sandalwood. This bottle is a more updated elegant version and actually looks like a red door. The lid is a clear glass that just adds that sophistication and elegance that you expect with Elizabeth Arden. Highly recommend this scent and love the new look

I don’t leave home without wearing it!
3 December 2022

I can’t remember how long I’ve used 5th Avenue. But it’s been for almost half of my life. Every single time I’m wearing it (which it’s daily) I get compliments. My ex was hands all over me every single time. He will always ask what perfume I was wearing and I would never tell him 😉. I’m one of those people that have tried not a lot, but enough scents in my life and there are three that are my signature scents and this one is my every day one. I got at least three larger bottles as a back up to never run out of it. The first time my mom smelled it she started using it and during the last years ever since I started using it, she did, too until her passing 5yrs ago. Thank you Elizabeth Arden for being part of my life and to those close to my heart.

Love the fragrance and the vendor is reliable!

Thank you so much for offering this lovely perfume!! And it's REAL! I had purchased this perfume from one of the popular online discount vendors and received a fake. The bottle was a cheap imitation and there was absolutely no scent at all!! I was skeptical to purchase fragrance from a third party here on Walmart, but I am pleasantly surprised and pleased!! It was shipped quickly and packaged a bit too precariously for my taste, but it arrived unharmed none the less! The price was really good too and quite competitive with the online discount site. I would be happy to purchase from this vendor again! This fragrance is a soft white floral. It's not spikey or cloying. It's just beautiful and last for about 5 hours on me. Scent does not last long.
2 August 2022

I used to love this scent. I always got tons of compliments from my colleagues and friends when I wore it. It’s a sophisticated scent - not too sweet or strong - a hint of vanilla which is my favorite. I purchased it from duty free in the past. This is the first time I purchased direct from Elizabeth Arden and I feel like the formula is changed (weaker?) and scent fades so quickly. If this is the scent moving forward, I will have to move on.
