Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent Spray 100 ml

This product is very affordable and easy to find in many locations. The packaging is cute (I love the sage green color). Initially, I didn’t really like the scent at all, but I am liking it now - I think I just expected it to smell a little sweeter. I definitely get bergamot, lemon, and some peppermint notes in it. While it makes you smell fresh, unfortunately it doesn’t really last at all. This perfume maybe lasts about 10 minutes max on me, which is a shame because this is a fun scent to play with. I wouldn’t purchase again because of that, but if its longevity is improved I would definitely consider it.

This fragrance holds a lot of memories for me. It has notes of lemon, green tea, jasmine, mint… overall a very citrusy, green, and fresh scent. It’s also very inexpensive and easy to find! I first smelled it around 20-ish years ago in my aunts bathroom at this vacation house we always went to. It reminds me of warm spring and summer days on the river, just having fun, talking and laughing, playing games and staying up late. It’s not very strong at all, and has not got much staying power. I just like it as a spritz of freshness and for the memories. It’s one of my favorites from the Arden house, and probably (other than Sunflowers) the only one I’ve purchased, or been gifted, more than once. I am absolutely devastated. This was described to me as timeless, a fresh herbal cup of tea with lemon but that is not what I get at all, sadly. This smells like Pinesol to me, I do not smell any green tea or any of the other notes that are listed, only a glaring disinfectant scent. I not super particular when it comes to fragrance, I like a wide variety of notes and it comes down to specific individual fragrances that I dislike rather than the entirety of a scent note. I usually love tea, herby and green fragrances which is what I wanted this to be. I’d love to still smell the other variations of this fragrance (especially the fig one!) but this one is just not for me.

So back to our story today I showered because yesterday I received Viktor and Rolfs FolwerBomb Classic perfume in the mail and somehow after 4 days of quarantine this warranted me washing my hair. Anyways, after receiving this perfume in a beautiful pink box thanks to Influenster I figured that I really should have a clean slate to try it on. So off to the shower I went In all transparency I dont normally switch up my signature scent because perfume is expensive and I dont do well with change dont ask me how Im dealing with this pandemic BUT I got this perfume for free and I knew that if I didnt like it my best friend would be waiting to take it off my hands. However, Viktor and Rolf delivered I am a floral girl through and through and this perfume isnt just a pretty bottle. The FlowerBomb Classic which is the one I chose to try today adds the perfect amount of spice to its floral notes and isnt overwhelming. My boyfriend even commented on how nice I smell though I wont use that as the measuring stick since he probably would have told me that either way lol. However, I am personally pleased with the scent and would be open to purchasing more in the future. Really its not easy describing a perfume in a review and they adjust to everyones skin differently. Therefore, my recommendation is that you go and try some for yourself once youre no longer stuck indoors. My only point of contention with the product is the plastic VR symbol on the bottle its a small point but I think it distracts from the overall look and elegance that the brand is striving to achieve In addition, I wont lie this perfume isnt cheap at roughly 55 for a travel size and 165 for 3.4 oz bottle this certainly is an investment but as my momma always said Your perfume should whisper and not shout. Use it sparingly and the bottle should last you awhile. 3
