Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster, 50 ml

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... Although I can say, my mom has been a die hard fan for Elizabeth Arden's Cermaide Capsules for years - I never felt the need to want to spend that much money on a product. Let's start with the packaging that has very elegant combination of colors. I like its slim, silver look and easy to carry size. Scent is very light barely noticeable. Actually, when I did notice it, smelled like most sunscreens out there. Smelled clean and beachy to me. Texture color is light brown and looks like a tinted moisturizer except it's not. The texture is very thin and slips through my fingers what I find it very hard to work with. I feel my skin doesn't absorb this SPF very well. It It felt greasy and gived my skin some oily looking glow that I didn't like. Even though I didn't like the oily feeling on my face I used it every day until it was gone. I love that it only has mineral filters and no chemical filters. Of course sometimes mineral sunscreens can feel weird on the skin and elizabeth arden is no different, but I am used to this. The smell is also weird. Can increase visibility of fine lines in under eye area. But overall impression is good. I don't regret the purchase and for me it is important to have non-chemical sunscreen. Looks beautiful on the skin and gives more healthy look since it's tinted.

This serum was on offer so I gave it a try. I must clarify first of all this is the most expensive skin care product I've ever bought. I've never been for high end skincare as I refuse to be milked by the industry. However, I am so glad I gave this a try. I chose this serum as it allows both day and night use, and it can be used in combination with all my other (mainly drugstore) products. I have dry combination skin with very oily T zone, therefore, I rarely use day cream/ moisturizer as they usually turn my face into a frying pan by end of day. But this serum doesn't oil my T zone at all, and it is so hydrating that I don't need other day moisturizer at all. I also noticed that my complexion has already been improved so much. Nowadays I'm only wearing sun cream on top of this but I still look as if I've spent hours carefully putting on a no-makeup makeup looks. This really is a God send for a clumsy, busy and anti-makeup person like me. This is now a stable in my skin care routine.

I have been using Prevage with SPF 30 for about a month now, and it is a decent moisturizer. I used this moisturizer because of the combination of hydration, antioxidants, and sunscreen which are usually three items I have to apply separately. I have NOT noticed a reduction in fine lines or wrinkles, nor have I noticed a brighter skin tone. Another issue I have is the way this moisturizer makes my skin feel, it leaves a semioily coating on my already oily and acne prone skin. My pores also seem more clogged after using this product, but I do not necessarily have more acne problems.I have noticed my skin to feel a little tighter but not brighter.The bottom line is I do not believe the antioxidants to absorb all that well the moisturizer clearly sits on my skin, it ... MoreI have been using Prevage with SPF 30 for about a month now, and it is a decent moisturizer. I have been using sunscreen daily since the 90ties and have tested probably close to 100 products. There is nothing like this on the market. It offers high protection in an elegant formula that can be worn on its own or under makeup, it does not rub off easily, it includes great ingredients that are helpful for the skin. The only problem with it is that it is cost prohibitive to use daily. You need about 4-5 pumps for good protection and then with reapplication this tube lasts maybe 3 weeks. I will stock up the next time EA has a promotion, but I wish it was more affordable or came in a larger tube.
