Aesthetically super cute and small!Also works great, it really fills the room with a great sent.It also make this really soothing sound as it diffuses (that's my personal opinion).The changing lights are a nice asset! I would of liked it if I could hold the light at one colour though, but that's not big deal.all in all highly recommend.

Bad buttons

I don't know if it is a design flaw or I just stumbled on a lemon but the buttons had absolutely no recoil at all! They caved in the first time I used it. I could get it to light up but only after holding the device for leverage with one hand and putting all of my strength into pushing the buttons with the thumb on my other hand. The display in the store where I returned it had the same issue with one of it's buttons. I'm a male who happens to want our house to smell good and honestly believe that my wife would not have had the hand strength to turn this thing on! I failed to mention earlier that even after brute strengthing it to turn it on the "motor" didn't come on so I only got to see the pretty lights but no mist of fragrance whatsoever! I've used quite a few diffusers and they had all these fancy features etc I'd never used but the function it was meant for diffusing oil stopped working so I went on the hunt and every one I found was over $50 even over $70.... THEN I found this little Ellia beauty! It's got such a great design, holds a good amount of water and does exactly what I needed it too! And is only $29! Even has a fancy light and two diffusing options. This little thing is amazing, I even went back to buy another one so I have two matching ones for my house and they are running constantly. If you use the intermediate setting it'll last over 10 hours!!! WOW! Well done, highly recommend!

Buttons stuck and would not work

I bought this for a friend for her birthday. It looks really nice, but directly out of the box, the buttons didn't work properly. We took it back to the store to exchange it, and they didn't have the same model in stock, but a few of the other Homemedic diffusers that were on display also had issues with the buttons. I told the clerk at the exchange desk, and she said they had several returns due to the buttons on the Homemedics brand not working ...then why continue to display them? Very frustrating for a product that costs so much and a store I trusted to sell quality products.

Does not work - buttons are un-pushable - no mist

First of all it is really pretty, I really want to keep it but it doesn't work. The first issues are the buttons. They are hard and un-pushable. You can't push them. They almost feel fake. There is no give when you touch the buttons so you can't tell if you "clicked" it or not. So, I kept pressing and pushing and tapping and the light feature turned on. Nice feature. But no matter how I tried I could not get the mist to turn on. There was no mist coming out, ever. I left it on for 30 mins and then pressed on the hard button to see if I was moving to the next phase (one push is continuous, 2 is on and off every 30 mins and 3 is off). I bought it for the mist so...I will have to return. But I am so perplexed by the button issue. Flawed design

I am now on my 3rd one of these devices. It is incredibly stylish and works well until it doesn't. The on/off button has a tendency to get stuck so that you may no longer turn it off or on. I had to call the manufacturer about the first one because this happened well after I could return it to the store. They told me they had received complaints and had discovered that the wood was warping, causing the button to stick. They had redesigned it and replaced the device with a new one, which also failed. I returned that one and got one more. Today, it is still working, but I am concerned I will face the same challenge. I have two other Ellia devices in the different shapes/styles. They all work fine. I would choose one of those versions over this one.

Good concept but doesnt last

I received as a Christmas gift in 2016. when I opened it the buttons on the front would not work and I couldn't operate the machine at all. I called the company and they sent me a replacement that took a month and a half. I have been using it for the last year and now the buttons on the replacement have stopped working also. its a shame because I do love it. I use it at my desk at work and it helps relieve the stress. I will be looking for another one with better reviews.

Great Compact Sizw

This unit fits nicely on my counter without taking up too much space. The neutral exterior color blends well and when the color light is on, it makes it blend even more nicely. The amount of scent released is just enough without overwhelming you. Great item.

I really like my HoMedics Ella Awaken diffuser.

I really like my HoMedics Ella Awaken diffuser. As it diffuses essential oils with water into the air it seems to make a difference in my breathing, especially at night in my bedroom. I do not use the changing light mode. I like the smaller size as my bedroom is small so it does not take up much room on the dresser. It is pretty quiet too. I am happy I purchased it.

Very Cheaply Make

Switches malfunctioned on both the original diffuser I purchased and then again on the replacement unit sent direct. The unit switches get stuck after the first couple of uses and it is very difficult to turn the diffuser on.After much time wasted, I purchased a very similar style DoTerra diffuser from a doTerra distributor for $20.00 less and have had no problems! Bed and Bath were very helpful in trying to resolve the problem and ultimately just refunded me the purchase price thru a store credit as it was originally a gift.
