Unfortunately this bra is not for me. The band was too large for me and the cups were too. Also the cups are in a very thick, stiff-ish fabric, which dimpled on the body and did not look good under clothes. However, following an on line chat (and because I am desperate) I decided to try the same bra with a smaller band and larger cup. However, that did not work out as the band was a little too small and the fabric on the cup seemed even stiffer than before. Also could tell from this size bra that there was little support at the side of the boob.

Yes it's truly amazing, I am 36k, as you can see I am very big busted and I get frustrated with bras. Someone is very very thoughtful and clever to come up with these sports bra with big cups. To be honest in the past, not long ago it was rare to get any good quality fitting bra to fit me as they didn't go up to large size. I can tell you that I am very excited and I have now got two sports bra. Navy with lime colour and plain black. I tried to get the navy get but it did not turn up and a refund was given to me. I look forward to purchasing some more of these sports bra in different colours. It would be nice if the price could be reduced. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. Kind regards C Brooks

A very honest review. This bra gives 1950’s bullet bra. For it it cost $70 retail price this shouldn’t look the way it does over shirts. I’ve washed this bra three time (only air drying it.) and the seams are unraveling. When wearing the bra something is poking me on the sides. It’s manageable so when working out you don’t feel it. If you have full breast like me the top cuts off harshly not giving my room causing my breast to spill over if I don’t readjust them to the side. For $70 I’m not happy. It hold the boobs well when jumping for the most part.

As a 14HH (up from 12G post menopause) I needed something to keep me from suffocating during yoga. This was recommended and has been a good choice! I also bought in black, which is a stiffer fabric. Good separation. I don’t use the clips and moved them right to the front so they don’t dig into my arm with side stretches. It would be better if the fabric came up to the collarbone, (during inversions the front covers my mouth) but most sports bras are designed to flash cleavage at the gym, so this model can handle most situations!
I generally wear a 38H in the Matilda. And I've come to expect serious support from that. This bra is the BEST sports bra. Actually BOTH of my Elomi Sports Bras are equally "the best". I really enjoy the fact that I can hook the straps together in the back - which add even more "security" and have been able to hook and unhook them without assistance! I generally avoid t-strap bras because they give me headaches. This hooks together low enough to avoid that. It doesn't move. Its a little high compared to many bras - but it also means I can lean over without worry something is gonna drop out. AND I have no need to show cleavage at the gym or while I'm running. Its also became my go-to for gardening/errands. It is the ONLY sports bra that absolutely has separate cups ... MoreI generally wear a 38H in the Matilda. Some may hate the "less than natural" look of your breasts after - but for the very big bosomed who just assumed uniboob was the standard - THIS thing is freaking amazing.
I brought this bra online specifically to wear to the gym. The bra was great although the cup size was slightly big but I decided to keep it because it was so comfy and gave the support wanted.I was happy I finally found a decent bra. I only wore it to the gym twice and put it into the wash with my other gym gear in the washing machine. However, when I opened the washing machine, I saw the bra completely destroyed.I was completely distraught and upset, although it was my fault that I had forgotten to check the instructions before washing. Its handwash only unfortunately, I shouldn’t have assumed that it would be washing machine compatible. However, I do believe that a note in the packaging saying handwash only would have been appropriate for this product, as ... MoreI brought this bra online specifically to wear to the gym. I maybe could have tried a size down, but the underwires seem huge. The shape of the cups is cone shaped and my breasts seem to splay out to the sides. To be honest I have not found a sports bra yet that works for me. I measure a 37 band and 44 mid breast with my elomi bijou plunge bra, but with pear shaped natural breasts, narro shoulders, and short torso, sizing can be tricky. It was recommended I try 38 H, but that was too big in Bijou Plunge also. I will stick with Bijou Plunge 38gg, but I do not think the Bijou energize is right for my body type. I cannot say enough, how much I appreciate the help I have rec. from Bare Nec. Staff… best place for me to buy the one bra that seems to fit me. (Bijou Plunge).
Summary: As a previous Goddess fan I tried the Goddess Adelaide Underwired Full Cup, the Adelaide Banded Underwired and the Keira Underwired (in a variety of sizes) at the same time as the Elomi. The Elomi is still the best fit and support for me (UK 40J) for every day wear by a country mile. There is no substitute for trying a bra on to see if it suits you as we're all shaped different, even if we nominally wear the same size. Figleaves free returns service makes everything easy so if you haven't tried the Elomi yet or have changed size since you last had one, I'd fully recommend you give it a go. Thank you Figleaves!Quality/Fit & Comfort: With a small back but big cup size I have always struggled to find manufacturers that even cater for me, let alone that provide sufficient support or the promised full cup coverage. I was forced to change brand some years ago following the discontinuation of the trusty Goddess GD0106 and I’ve been a fan of the Elomi Energise Underwired Sports Bra ever since. I actually prefer the Elomi as it has the fit and support of the GD0106 without what I considered to be some major design flaws. The Elomi has the same width of shoulder straps that spread the load and don't dig in. The straps are made from an elastic (rather than non-stretchable material) that is strong enough to support and yet still 'gives' enough to ensure they retain their shape rather than becoming permanently stretched. It has 'normal' strap adjusters at the back rather than the GD0106's front-located metal clasps that I grew to hate as they would painfully poke me and/or start slipping after the first few initial months of wear. I've read reviews on the Elomi from some years ago about the underwire going too far round the body. The GD0106 did this with me so I know what you mean – it’s very uncomfortable. The Elomi’s underwire is well-placed under my arms and the wires don't bend outwards and poke me in the arm pits. Finally, the combination of 'shortened' underwires between the breasts coupled with an additional 2 inch rise of fabric almost completely eradicates the problem of poking-out underwire at the front, even after months and months of wear. Hallelujah! In my most recent order I changed from the 38J to the 40J and was hugely relieved to find that it fit as I don't think it comes in a JJ. From past experience I know that the band fabric and straps are likely to roll a bit, but not uncomfortably so, and to an extent that I'm prepared to accept from something that isn't made to measure for me specifically. Two additional things to note about fit & comfort: 1. I've never worn the Elmoi in racing back style and in fact remove the extra clips (with wire cutters!) because I worry that the hook sticks out under clothes. 2. I'm reviewing this as a normal-wear bra rather than a sports bra. In recent years I've not found it nearly supportive enough to wear on its own for activities such as horse-riding, aerobics or dancing. The only thing that has proved sufficiently effective for me for any sort of sport is wearing an Enell sports bra over the top of the Elomi.Value for money: For many years I could only get bras that fit me from one shop in London. Each bra cost £60 plus £15 to have the back size adjusted, plus the cost of getting to the shop. So I think £36 is amazing. I usually have 5 or 6 bras on the go at once so tend to wait for Figleaves' offers to come around and then stock up. I recently took advantage of a £1 postage deal and have just ordered two more with 20% off - marvellous! Coupled with the free returns service I just cannot fault the value for money. Thank you, thank you, thank you Figleaves!Appearance: This bra is in no way pretty. This is fine with me as I realised in my teens that I would probably always have to sacrifice prettiness for support. I've seen some reviews saying it gives a pointy look and some saying it pushes everything sideways resulting in a flatter but wider look. On me there is a slight pointy effect but I personally think this is offset by the benefit of the lift and separation. I've gone for 4 stars rather than 5 because the central cup seam does show through some items of clothing which draws additional attention to an area that I’m self-conscious enough about already - such a shame. It would be so so nice to have something seamless and yet that can still defy gravity. It's also a shame that Figleaves doesn't seem to be carrying the white version at the moment.
Honestly one of the worst bras I have ever purchased. Extremely stiff and scratchy. It does offer good support, but most definitely, this was NOT designed by a woman. The cups are very pointy (think 1940's bra ads) and there is a very large and prominent seam that runs across the front and is visible under all clothing. I wore a shaper tank and an undershirt over the bra and I could still see the seam through my blouse! Horrible. Will be returning promptly.
So I have been struggling to find a good bra as I’m big chested and trying to work out. (Due to my large weight gain. )So this was recommended to me. It makes my breasts look pointy like the Madonna cone bra. It’s a weird satiny / canvas material with seams that run across your nipple and that’s slightly uncomfortable. The image I was shown in store looked l different. It’s uncomfortably scratchy and looks like my granny’s s bras.I am very angry about this.I will include what I thought I was getting vs what I got.The red bra is like silky butter and what I thought I was getting. The black is what I got.You can see in the 2nd photo of the black bra that if I lift my arm up the top of the bra digs into my upper breast tissue.
