So, I thought I was getting a sweet deal with this bottle of 45 gummies for $30. I was like, “Nice! This is gonna last me a while.” But, oh no, plot twist! I received the raspberry to try and give a review. Each gummy is coated in sugar granules which makes the eating experience similar to a gummy candy. The texture is much softer though so if you have trouble swallowing pills these are perfect especially for older people. The directions say 3 times a day but I’ve only been taking 1 with my am medicines. These gummies provide extra vitamins we tend to lose as we get older and everyone needs a good vitamin. These gummies are totally fine. They taste like any other gummy vitamins, and they pack a good amount of vitamin C/D per serving. I also appreciate that each serving doesn't contain an excessive amount of vitamin C, which companies often do despite the fact that it's not good for us in large quantities. That being said, I'm pretty unhappy with the execution of these. 45 gummies sounds great - about a month and a half of servings! - until you realize that one serving is 3 gummies. So this entire, regular-sized bottle is only enough for 2 weeks. That's pretty absurd and misleading in my opinion, and it's hard to justify the cost when you're receiving such a small amount. If you like elderberry, I believe you will love these. They are a little bit tart, but taste wonderful to me. I just started taking them, so I can't attest to there effectiveness. But I have used other Emergen-C products in the past with great success. And you can't beat the price that I paid for these! Much more expensive elsewhere.
