I inserted one new battery in the item but it it did not work. I took a 2nd battery and it also did not work. I then used a battery tester on both and found that for both, at first contact the needle went to full charge but within seconds dropped downed to failed. I then went to a nearby store to get one more 2032 battery , tested it and it showed fully charged and that reading remained. I then put it in the item and it worked fine. that was over a week ago and the item is still working.I have returned the defective batteries and received a full refund. The Energizer 2023 batteries 3v coin lithium batteries 4 pack I received as an incentive for my honest review. I was supposed to get the 2paci but was blessed with the 4pack which has actually been a blessing as I have 4 fobs that actually needed batteries replaced. I was excited to find that they were the correct size I needed. Two of my fobs had completely stopped working so I immediately replaced them and they are working great. I was able to unlock and lock my vehicle with the fob again. These work extremely well and I have had them awhile now in use. They work perfectly and I highly recommend them. As much as I use my fobs they have yet to let me down. All in all I now know what I need and I will be using the brand for now on.

My car fob battery was just about to die while I getting fuel. It would not start bsck up as i getting an alert on my dashboard "No Key Detected". The place where was getting fuel did not carry this type of battery. I took the fob apart. Remove the battery & place it right back causing the car to detect the fob & able tostart the car. I rushed to AutoZone & the representive was able to get me the correct battery & even placed in my fob. Worked like a charmed. I even bought an extra battery for my wife's fob to be safe. Thank you AutoZone for your kindness & professionism.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a 4 pack instead of 2 pack. Theses have a very long expiration date and Energizer is a tried and true company so this is an easy review. Great company and batteries. This is used in a few things in our household but currently for our key fobs for our cars. 4 cars in this family right now so your key fob battery is bound to die out. Good to keep on hand because you just don’t know when it will happen. Only recommendation for people with small babies, toddlers and pets: please keep packed away high up somewhere the kiddos and pets can not get to them. You don’t want them to ever swallow batteries ever. Other than that, I recommend Energizer 3V lithium coin batteries.
