I bought this for my garage door opener. I replaced the battery and the opener still didn't work. I called the garage door company to make an appointment and luckily they advised me to try the other battery in the package. I did and it worked. They said these packages are often old because they do not sell quickly. They were right the expiration date is 2020 on the battery. So i bought one dead battery and one that is going to be bad soon. I should have probably returned but I needed to get in my garage! I recommend you check the date on the package.

The first battery I pulled out lasted a couple of weeks at most. My wife asked me to immediately return them, but unfortunately I did not listen. Instead, I waited weeks and then decided to try the second battery after placing the first "bad"battery back into the packaging. The second lasted about the same amount of time and have out as well. Now, I've wasted time and money giving a name brand the opportunity to redeem itself to no avail. Even worse, now I'm stuck with dud batteries I have to replace. Definitely not willing to make the same mistake a third time.

These uncommon size batteries are used primarily in small devices like remote garage door or powered gate openers. The current drain is very low and thus usually last a long time. I bought these to replace the old ones for my garage door opener which lasted over 4 years of daily use. This is impressive. Hope these replacements will last as long. The only disappointment was Best Buy dropped the price by $1.80 only a few weeks after I bought these.

This would be a hard to find battery outside of B&H. Sealed and hidden in the body of my Tesla, in case of the 12volt battery failing and making the car automatically lock up. Under the front bumper are two wires that will open the car when touched with this 12 volt battery.
Never heard of this type of battery before I bought a 3 way wall plug extender with remote control capabilities. I popped it in and the remote works. Enough said. Decent price, I guess.
My remote died, and I needed a new battery quickly! Best Buy to the rescue, not only did Best Buy have a vast array of batteries to select from, but they also graciously accepted the old battery for recycling.
Although these are less common than the conventional AAA, AA, C, D, and rectangular (9 volt) batteries, these batteries are not only are ideal for specialty purposes, but also advanced hobby projects that can be used for 12 and 24 volt applications, such as high performance model airplanes or high output LED flashlights. They also have no mercury, which makes them eco-friendly, and I was really impressed about the big bargain for this product I purchased, with a grand total of 60 batteries (12 if it's one box). Otherwise, I'm quite impressed with these batteries. On top of that, it sure is good to have a higher performance battery in a compact package. Highly recommended!
These Energizer batteries do not leak, even when dead. They are guaranteed not to leak for two years after discharge. The "other" brand always leak. Some even not completely dead have shown beginning signs of leakage. I can't count how many devices have been ruined by leaky copper top batteries.
They are new batteries. They replaced almost dead batteries. Energizer is a top brand name -- we'll see how long they last. I can say this positive: Best Buy was the fourth store we went to but the first to stock this less popular size of battery.
I was so glad to find these batteries at Best Buy. I have looked at numerous places with no luck and fortunately I was able to purchase the last one. It is a odd size but needed for my ceiling fan
