Will be good if they live up to their claim

According to the pack these are the number one longest lasing batteries but it's not clear from the packaging if that's to do with the batteries power lifetime or the fact that they apparently have a 12 year shelf life. I suspect that claim relates to them being the longest lasting in the Energizer range rather than say compared to other competitors in the market. I can't really vouch for the longer lasting claim as I received for review and therefore I'm obliged to submit a review in 2 weeks, but they seemed to work fine. If they do indeed have a very long shelf life then that would seem to be a useful feature if you don't get through many batteries and tend to have them laying around in a drawer for a long time before you use them.
