The stem plays a key role in connecting your bike to your handlebars, and must manage all the forces that you, the cyclist, exert on your bike. On the road, the 100% unidirectional carbon body provides a lightweight structure that is torsionally and laterally rigid to ensure that steering and acceleration actions are positive and confidence-inspiring. On rough roads, the carbon-fiber laminate absorbs vibrations and reduces hand and upper-body fatigue. To further reduce weight, all stem bolts are made of lightweight titanium.
