Enzo Japanese Iron Wok Pan - 28cm
When developing this Deep Frying Pan, designer Keiichi Katada wanted it to have the heating properties of iron but in a lighter weight that was friendlier for home chefs. His solution was to combine the iron with stainless steel, resulting in a pan that's easier to handle when stir-frying ingredients, from meat to vegetables to seafood. The deepness of the pan holds your ingredients inside during those moments when you want to shake and toss them during frying. The Enzo Deep Frying Pan is crafted in Japan and features a beautiful wooden handle. It measures 5.1h x 19.3l (including handle) x 11”d and weighs 2.4 lbs. Hand wash only, dry immediately by hand. If stacking multiple pans, please use protection between them to avoid scratching.

It's a beautiful cookware. Light weight and conduct heat much faster than conventional pans. I had the pan for three months but only used it less than 10 times. I cook with wood spoon and handwash it each time as instructed using non abrasive cleaning agent and sponge, yet the pan already shows scratches. Quite disappointing.

I got the Enzo skillet MoMA sells (or used to sell? cannot find it now). It was a beautiful and lightweight pan that turned into a disaster - worked great for the first 5-10 times, then some kind of non-stick surface covering started to peel off, then the black went silver and it rusted easily. When I tried to get rust off, it was even worse. Really bad for a $90 pan.

So far I've loved using this deep frying pan, for its light weight and ease of cleaning. Recommend it highly.
