I got this headset to replace my last one (which lasted several years without issue) and it is a bit of a disappointment, from the beginning it had issues. Initially the computer wouldn't even recognize the headset until I downloaded a patch. After that it functioned in an acceptable fashion. The sound/mic quality was decent but it would occasionally make a popping noise in the first few months. Next is the mic; you are supposed to be able to mute by putting the microphone arm up and unmute by putting it back down... this doesn't always work. Roughly 5-10% of the time it will just decide not to mute or not to unmute. This has led to people hearing personal conversations with my partner and also me having many conversations with myself because I was still unknowingly ... MoreI got this headset to replace my last one (which lasted several years without issue) and it is a bit of a disappointment, from the beginning it had issues. I'm highly impressed with the quality of this headset. The sound is crisp and clean. Microphone works very well and have been told the quality comes off very clear on the other end. Not to mention this is probably THE MOST comfortable headset I have ever worn. It's snug without feeling constricting. Leightweight. The ear pads are incredibly confortable and soothing. 10/10!

Overall a great value set of wireless headphones if you value decent sound quality and long battery life. I am used to open back headphones, so I found the very low frequency overpowering and lowered it using the EPOS Gaming Suite application equaliser. Now it has a smooth, warm sound with slightly recessed treble. This sound signature is easy to listen to for prolonged periods, though the treble doesn’t sparkle. The drivers sound fairly well controlled, but it’s not as fast and articulate as more expensive headphones. Range is decent, as I can walk to the other end of my admittedly small house and audio remains solid. The microphone sounds decent in Discord, with no obvious issues. The side tone option is great to make my voice sound more natural to me when I am talking, however, the audio quality of my voice coming back through the headphones isn’t the highest quality. PS Just be aware that there can be issues when updating firmware. Mine initially bricked, but was fixed by right clicking the EPOS Gaming Suite application icon in my taskbar and selecting ‘Troubleshoot’. Then follow the prompts to update the dongle before updating the headset.

Sound quality is not to bad - Surround sound is excellent and accurate but I did have some issues: Headset isn't man handled at all and aren't thrown around - but ear muffs have deteriorated and peeled back (Not constantly in the sun either). Mic seems to sound ok on Discord, but then most times in game they don't even pick up my voice (This is even after messing with the application). Most likely a issues with Windows 11, but sometimes the headset won't connect until I move the port the dongle is in, or restart computer, or restart program. TBH don't recommend for the price you pay...

Favourite daily headset to date

This was my first wireless headset and has been better than most wired ones I've owned. The battery life is ridiculous. I'll be running it all day for work, gaming all night and then only have to charge it maybe once a week. The overall build quality and finish on the headset is nice. There is just enough clamping pressure and it fits my head well. The over the ear cups also make it comfortable and I have no issues wearing it daily for 14+ hours. The boom arm and volume control knob feels solid and has nice tactile feedback. The advanced noise cancelling has been great as well. It cancels so much noise people think I've muted them at work and they always ask me if I'm still there. The added bonus of lift to mute is handy as well. The main reason I picked up the headset was for the wireless feature. This has saved me from yanking over my PC tower and laptop so many times. The range is impressive. I could leave my computer, walk down the hallway and head to the kitchen and still hear the boys on discord and chat with them. The microphone does what I need it to do. I have clear conversations at work and my friend's haven't had to tell me they can't hear me or I'm muffled like my previous headset. If you're looking for a studio quality ASMR professional microphone, I'd just buy a dedicated microphone for that. This is fine for gaming and general everyday conversations. I'll preface this by saying that this headset I bought had a mid year sale on, but overall great headset.

Good for gaming, requires patience

TL;DR A good headset: superb quality sound, microphone is passable. This headsets strength is in comfort and sound. Though it is plastic it is durable and comfortably fits on many sized heads. The sound is the strongest point. Superb quality for a wireless headset (i have wired headsets which do not reach this quality). Strong bass, wide acoustics and perfect for gaming. Also has an adjustable volume knob. The battery life is also extremely long, meaning charging isn't a huge issue. The weakness of this headset is: the software. Getting this headset to work (on PC) took almost two hours (add a few more hours spent fixing the headset when it crackled/stopped working) as the software either doesn't work or doesn't pick up the headset. Thankfully there are workarounds for these issues, but they take some time. Reinstalling drivers and USB drives, restarting PC, and finding multiple audio mixers may be required to successfully use this headset. As well, there is a common issue with the dongle not picking up the headset when freshly starting the PC but this can be fixed by simply removing the dongle and placing it back in. Overall there is a bit of messy work involved getting this headset to work, but if you don't mind that then this headset is well worth it. Hoping Epos can fix their software issues in the future.

I'm not an audiophile, but . . .

I wanted something that most audio nuts agreed actually sounded good, without being terribly expensive. Not only do movies, Youtube, etc sound better, but phone calls work! VOIP and Google Voice were almost unintelligible, until now. This GSP 370 beats any headphone / headset I've ever owned, and that includes a couple pair of Sennheiser I've owned in years past. One more thing: It works with Linux! The headset shows up as GSP 370 headset on my system, and it just works without diving into the drivers morass.

Nearly perfect audio with impossible battery life
5 March 2023

This headset and mic sounds fantastic, as expected from a sennheiser/epos device. It weighs nothing. When I first checked out with this, I had the cashier open the box to verify that it was not empty, as it really felt like I was handed an empty box. The advertised 100 (yes, that’s -One Hundred-) hour battery life is somehow not a joke despite the low weight. In the month I have owned this headset, I have charged it only one time, and I use it daily. The only issue I have had is that it occasionally will lose its pairing, and I will need to unplug and replug the USB receiver to get it to redetect. That may just be my PC though, as I have other issues with external devices occasionally dropping out and so I am not blaming this on the headset.

It was not too bad, mostly wireless pairing steps, though it did work right out of the box I just needed to pair them properly for the newest software updates that I wanted. There are pre-made audio levels available like one made specifically for music, gaming, movies, etc. you can save your own sound levels to customize what frequency of sound you want to hear most. The audio is fantastic quality, very crisp, and makes you want to close your eyes and just enjoy the music. It turns out the microphone is not brag-worthy but it does sound nicest without any "voice enhancers". It seems the "ok" quality microphone is because most of the bandwidth is used up by providing fantastic audio while the little remaining is used for the microphone, which is ok, choose your priorities. If you need a better quality microphone while also amazing audio Sennheiser has the equivalent headset but wired which I'm sure does better. I have thick walls so the wireless doesn't work too far from my computer, only about to the adjacent rooms the audio comes through but my microphone drops out here and there in those rooms. Any further and I lose both but it automatically reconnects when I come in range. I was concerned when I pulled these out of the box by how light they felt and how cheap the material seemed but after using them they really are quality headphones. I saw a review video pulling the ear cups horizontally apart and twisting very hard and they still didn't break but I didn't risk testing that. They do handle a little tossing around at minimum. The only weird software experience I have had is with discord where notification sounds or someone entering or leaving the call will occasionally cut out all audio for a second, but not every time. I believe it is due to some setting I can't locate in discord. last thing, I have a small head and was worried about finding a good headphone that would fit me. This fits great at the smallest adjustment setting and doesn't put too much pressure at any particular point. The ear cups are snug to my head and the headband helps hold them up too. I also let my friend with a significantly larger head put them on and while he maxed out the adjustment, it did fit quite well too. I wear these all day for days on end and so far no complaints about comfort.

Anyone who has never had multiple wireless headsets would probably be ok with this headset but from someone who has owned multiple cheaper headsets, i can safely say this is not a good choice. Let's start off with the good, the battery life is insane, like really really good, feels fairly light, really cups onto your ears to block out surrounding noise, but that's where it ends. The sound quality is ok, the kind you say, yeah this is ok.. i guess... but my partners razer nari sounds alot better for over $100 less, it will take you a year and a day just to get the software to sound anywhere near like you want it. I have noticed a small static noise just from general use and looking on forums this is completely normal, listening to youtube or something that isnt that loud you can hear it. Every time you wake your pc up from sleep or turn it on, you have to unplug and replug the dongle to get it to reconnect, again, normal, look at the forums. The build quality is the most basic cheap feeling headset ever, no big deal if it sounded good but it just doesnt. On off button is janky, doesnt belong here. Sennheiser is generally known for outstanding mic quality, not here, look elsewhere, horrible. Noise cancelling technology is hit and miss, not even selectable in the software. The volume wheel lags, i dont know how it does but after you do volume up or down it takes about 2 seconds for the sound to actually change, annoying when trying to fine tune. No mute headset button, someone wants to talk to you, better take that headset off, no game sound / voice chat dial like every other headset. would recommend the razer nari, or even a pair of RIG 800hd which lasted me 3 years before they started degrading. Lucidsound LS35 werent too bad for a cheaper headset too, great features on side of headset for sound control.
