I normally play single player games with full home theater setup. I got a logitech pro x wireless when gaming with friends but never enjoyed it. After reading good review on epos open back headsets, I think open back is the way to go. After using the headset for 2 weeks, I'm happy to say I really enjoyed it! It sounds very similar to a speaker setup, because of the open back design. Highly recommend it to speaker users!

After trying the P38x, P37s, Astros A50s, I finally ended and chose these H6Pros.They won in my book for ease of use, long use comfort, sound quality, and most importantly positional audio accuracy. My test, I closed my eyes, ran a 7.1 audio test, and while my eyes were closed I could tell what direction the noises were coming from. Boom, these guys ended up being my COD MW2 headset. The only downside is the audio software suite, it's quite lacking and buggy, but the EQ works and the 7.1 audio works, so that's all I really needed out of it.

I have used various 'premium headsets' in my many years of gaming; Astro, Turtle Beach, Razer, RIG and never found a headset that is comfortable for my "excessively large ears" and glasses. I had wanted Open Backed headphones for some time so that I could hear my voice when in voice chat and thought I would try these. This is the headset I have been looking for.Super comfortable. Premium design and quality feel. And the sound! The sound is incredible. The entire range on sound from this headset is well defined and clear. It puts many other 'premium' headsets I have owned to shame. I have played Overwatch for 6 years and am hearing sounds for the first time with these...Given these are open backed I wouldn't recommend them to anyone playing in a busy/noisy ... MoreI have used various 'premium headsets' in my many years of gaming; Astro, Turtle Beach, Razer, RIG and never found a headset that is comfortable for my "excessively large ears" and glasses. I see this as a positive though as I appreciate being able to hear my own voice, talk to people and hear what is happening around me.They appear expensive for a wired headset. But you won't regret your purchase.

I enjoy this headset alot. Lets start with down sides. The open acoustic version does not have punchy bass and can affect certain game like Warhammer 40k darktde when the elites spawn. It was really hard to hear the tail tale sign something coming to get you but this can be moderately improved though audio settings. The good side is its light, pressure on the head is not to loose or tight and fits my ears nicely without touching them which on most headphone they do. Also it keeps cool enough for long play sessions.
I did NOT buy these for the gaming aspect, I got these for work so I can take conference calls while also able to listen to quality audio.Good - VERY light weight and comfortable for all day use.Mic works like a champ, without too much blending with background noises.Bad - Open back design, which just means that you may not want to use these in an office environment like myself.Audio is ok, Not as decent or clean and polished as Bose. I would be more critical about these as they are made by Sennheiser, but the price point was so low, that I did not expect perfect audio. The audio is a little soft, I would anticipate that the external soundcard would offer a tad bit of amplification but it doesn't.There is a KNOB on the side of the headphones that turns up and ... MoreI did NOT buy these for the gaming aspect, I got these for work so I can take conference calls while also able to listen to quality audio.Good - VERY light weight and comfortable for all day use.Mic works like a champ, without too much blending with background noises.Bad - Open back design, which just means that you may not want to use these in an office environment like myself.Audio is ok, Not as decent or clean and polished as Bose. It doesnt look like a knob, but there is one, Its on the right speaker piece. Turn it up. Fought for 10 min trying to figure out why I had no sound. Found out that it was that knob.Overall, For what I was going to use it for, I give it 2 out of 5 stars.BUT, due to the fact that these are gaming headsets, and the fact that its made by Sennheiser and cost less than 200 bucks, it is still a good deal.Just wish they would make these in a closed back, better audio, maybe a little higher pricetag, and a external soundcard that doubles as a dac. That would be sweet.
Have always enjoyed Sennheiser's headphones, and EPOS are continuing the legacy with the H6 Pro. The open back allows for great bass and the pass through of sound around you, also works great for keeping the ears cool during long sessions. The lighter weight is noticeable on my head and it definitely feels slightly more comfortable to wear for long sessions compared to its predecessor the GSP 500. The detachable microphone is excellent and I've had no issues with audio quality. The clamping force is comfortable, and doesn't feel too loose or too tight.Overall, highly recommend the H6 as a great wired gaming headset!
These are not good headphones. There's absolutely no detail in the sound and the imagining is very poor as well. There are other options out there just as poor at half the price sound quality wise.Build quality is fair to good but they still feel cheap and disposable. The removable cord is a good idea and they are ok comfort wise - but the sound is just too poor to recommend these.
I have a big boofhead for reference. I've only owned these for short period of time but have done some serious, till the sun comes up gaming.10/10 over ear fit.10/10 out of the box sound.Light, just right amount of holding force while upright.Horizontal holding force is a bit loose but the balance is right imo.10/10 breathability.Cheap variable resistor volume controls fail fairly quickly, lets hope the volume dial on these are diff, ill be leaving mine on full and using it as little as possible.Manipulating the Mic boom to mute seems very quiet and doesn't pickup easily in the microphone.
I absolutely love this headset. This is the 5th set that I have owned or tried, both on ear and over ear. I require a headset for telehealth and speaking with work colleagues on teams, however the first thing I did when I plugged them in was to listen to Stairway to Heaven. I instantly had a big smile on my face. I love that they are open as I can hear my own voice. I don't feel like I am talking under water, or that I might be "shouting" at patients. They are very comfy, very light, beautifully built and are not bulky on my head like a previous gaming headset that I tried. They are definitely loud enough, and they are very professional looking. I am very happy!
The headphones themselves are very good but the GSX 300 is not so much.. Also you can't enable any windows audio enhancements when you have the GSX 300 software installed or drivers installed/enabled. Honestly I think these sound better without the Epos software installed anyways but I might've just not messed around with the software enough. A small problem is though when you just have the basic windows drivers installed the headphones will randomly pop here and there and it's pretty annoying though I'm pretty sure the actual problem is with the GSX 300 rather then the H6PRO's themselves.Overall I'm pretty happy with them but I'm gonna have to buy a separate dac/amp because of how underwhelming the GSX 300 is but still for only $20 more (when I bought is at ... MoreThe headphones themselves are very good but the GSX 300 is not so much.. And the GSX 300 like a 2/5 probably.. I will say that running the H6PRO's though the GSX 300 without the software installed still sounds better then plugging the headphones straight into my motherboard so at least the GSX 300 gets some points for that but that's about it I'd say.
