Because of the lightweight construction (and it's pretty comfortable to wear because of this), the headset ends up feeling a little flimsy and would be easy to break. However, the audio quality is reasonable (for only one speaker), it's good and loud, and the microphone is ok so others should have no trouble hearing you. Will definitely be a step up from using built in speakers and mic on a laptop, but don't expect premium build quality, sound or longevity.

I really wanted to love this headset. I usually like Jabras designs. This one is OK. It does the job, but nothing really exciting. The quality is average plus. It doesnt feel slick. The wires are think and clunky. The audio quality is ok, especially when using for voice and I can be heard well by the other side, but not a great listening experience for music. It sits ok on the head and ears, but I certainly had more comfortable ones. All in all is not a bad product, but is not a great one.

I guess my only complaint is about the cords near the volume control. I wear this thing 10 hours a day, so they get a lot of movement and some of them have frayed apart, but I attribute that more to my abuse then to their poor craftsmanship. My current one I have hanging now, to avoid the problem it seems to be working. I actually put two of these together so I have an earpiece on each year in a boom on the left and the right so I have one attached to my computer sound and one to my phone. Kind of a weird set up but it works for me. And dictating with Dragon works great, which is what I'm doing right now, so it seems like the sound quality is excellent.

I've been using my Sennheiser headset with Dragon Naturally Speaking and have consistently gotten very good results from the speech to text conversion. I know these headsets really help because I've used something different before and other headsets made considerably more errors than this one. If you're using a voice to text program, don't skimp on five or $10 trying to buy something cheaper. The Sennheiser works really, really well. The point of voice to text is to expedite what you want to get in a document. You don't want to be going back making constant Corrections. I've had very few errors when I enunciate clearly. I would have to say this headset is worth every penny for the speed which it is help me get my work done.

With both of her ears covered, and with no side tone in the headset, she couldn't hear her own voice and spoke too loudly all day long. I bought this to use with Skype on my work PC. It works very very with a single side earpiece (so you can also hear your surroundings). It also has a microphone built in to pick up your voice for the call. Best of all its USB plug 'n play - simply plug it in to a USB port on your PC/laptop and away you go.

The Bad: The headset adjustment is a bit awkward - it only extends on the speaker side, so when fully extended to fit my big head I have a long flat run in the band that doesn't leave it balanced. But my real problem with this headset is the inline volume control. First of all, its huge compared to what you would encounter with modern headphones so it weighs the cord down and it hangs at an awkward length along the cord from the headset. The Logitech USB Headset H390 beats this hands down. I've been using the Logi for a year or so and thought about "upgrading" to this Sennheiser - also because these are in stock (for my team) and the Logi is sold out due to COVID. After doing a few recordings with each, I can say without a doubt this is not as good as the cheaper Logitech. The audio is clean but much quieter and toned down versus the clear and deep sound that Logitech captures.

The problem I've been trying to solve is that when I have online meetings, others always complained that they heard a lot of background noise..specifically my central air conditioner which they compared to being in a wind tunnel. Now with this unit, all the problems with noise are gone! They can hear me clearly and no more background wind tunnel noise. Another complaint I had about one of the other headsets I had was the bulk. It is extremely heavy and not comfortable to wear for more than a few minutes. This unit, however, is the opposite and is extremely light. Update: After 3-4 years this headset has worked great daily but due to all the twisting it now has wire exposed. Still 5 stars. Still the best cheap headset out there . Buying another one now After looking at the logitech similar headsets I went with this Sennheiser brand for the quality and having the earpiece on the RIGHT side is great. I use this when working from home and I can hear everyone and the mic is perfect. No problems, no static and no feedback. I just plugged it into my USB port and it installed and worked in less than a minute. Very lightweight and it has a long cord with a mute button on the cord. I would say if you want a great headset on the right side ear, get this one.
