Comfortable, efficient, warm and detailed sound. Great bass, smooth midrange and clear treble, flat curve and no distortion. They bring music to life. Unbeatable at twice the price. The Senheisers equivalent PX100 is a good try, but they come up short. These are the best portable headphones at any price. Period. They sound great, are comfortable and compact. They even have an attractive price. How could you improve on that

I use these headphones with my iPhone, Laptop and other MP3 players and find them to be very comfortable and very compact. The sound quality after breaking them in is awesome for this price point. I also have a pair of Senheizer PX100 IIs and I think the sound is similar for less money. The Koss Portapros come in a little carry bag that is quite useful. I only hope Koss continue to make these as I remember trying these at a store about 25 years ago Australian Dollars.

I purchased the SC 230 expressly to use with voice recognition software. It was advertised as being optimised for this function. It turned out to be pretty useless for this. Thankfully EOS formerly Sennheiser turned out to be very supportive and to cut a very long story short provided a much better product while noting this model is not optimised for Dragon. It took many hours of my time to sort out. I was not pleased.
