Very impressed with this printer! It’s also super quiet and fast! So easy to use.My previous printer was a Canon… this Epson printer leaves it for dead!

Just replaced my old Epson printer as I wanted a new one with document feeder. I am certain I have done everything correctly installed ink cartridges, removed tabs run nozzle checks cleaning etc but the printer is printing blank pages. I unpacked it carefully remove all the tapes etc. Tried everything it just prints blanks. Was really good price and now I'm concerned. To be fair to Epson I'm yet to contact them. I hope they will contact me to resolve. I've wasted half the ink running tests. Ink levels are going down but nothing printing. I can't work it out. Joe

It allows the printer to scan to the computer directly. However, I decided not to go with these drivers, uninstalled them and just installed the printer driver via Windows.Scan speed is quite good off the box. Scan quality is also good. Initial feeling is that it is less "pretty" than my previous MF printer. However, checking with the origin, the scan seemed to be a bit more accurate - maybe my old printer did some beautifying to the scans. Might need to twit the settings a bit.I mainly use the touch screen to scan to a network folder. Works well with a couple of suggestions for easy improvementsIt would nice that it remembers the last "Contact" use instead of needing to select contact every time.It is possible to scan pages to the same file when scanning using the flat bed. You simply select last original after scanning the last page. The same appears to scanning using the feeder but each "batch" will be scanned to different files. It will be nice if multiple batches can be scanned to the same file - especially when trying to scan both sides of pages given the feeder does not have duplex function. Also, it will also be great if mixed flatbed and feeder scans can be save to the same file as well.I have also noticed that the hinges that holds the feeder when opening it use access the flatbed scanner feels a bit flimsy. When closing it, I notice that I often have to move it around a bit for it to close properly and fit in to the '"position notch".Print speed is quite fast - I only did the test page, config pages and alignment pages. Have not had the chance to test for colours accuracy.I am pleasantly surprised that the printer is able to perform duplex printing - something I did not looked for, didn't pick up when checking the specs and was not expecting on printers at this price range. The print head alignment process is quite easy to work with. I do have magnifying the output with my phone to see the "best" selection, which shows how accurate the print head can be.The printer ink does seemed quite expensive though, which is a bit of a norm these days, I think, for printers of pretty much all known brands. As I don't print much that is less of a problem for me. Not sure if the printer will allow for non-Epson original ink cartridges - my guess is not.My main concern with inkjet printers is the clogging of the print heads after extended time of not printing anything. Will have to wait and see if that is still the case. With my last printer, after replacing the ink cartridges and printed some pages, the print heads was clogged after some time of not printing and I am unable to get the ink flowing again even after running the print heads cleaning process multiple times.

I've only had this printer for 2 weeks to replace a different competitor brand that kept on malfunctioning. So far so good. Never had Epsom before so was a little hesitant at first, however the ease of installation and the efficiency of the product caters to my needs. The installation process took me a couple of hrs but I took my time and there wasn't an issue at all, that's one of my reasons why I purchased this particular printer. I like the touchscreen, print from anywhere feature if required and it is simple to use.
I purchased the Epson WF-4830 for my home office and I couldn't be happier. It was easy to set up, and prints good quality documents. I use it mainly for printing word documents, and scanning/copying. The touchscreen is easy to use, and its nice that it tilts up for easy reading and use. The ink for it is quite reasonably priced, and so far seems to have good longevity. It is a solid unit, and it does take up a bit of space on the desk, but I get the feeling that it will last a long time, and continue to be useful. Two paper trays are nice to have, and the automatic double-sided printing is a must have these days! Very happy overall, and would recommend for any small-medium volume home office.
We have been reasonably happy with previous Epson printers. However it must be said that this one we purchased just 2 months ago is starting off not very good...1.) We had a power failure while this printer was on (where we live we get a lot of these). When we turned the printer back on it gave us a lecture about cutting power to it, and how to correctly turn it off and then proceeded to make all sorts of loud noises and was not printing properly. We had to do ALL the maintenance checks before we could use it again.2.) The powerpoint was then accidentally turned off when updating firmware. !! Of course, the printer then would not turn on at all! Of course, the printer then would not turn on at all! We had to buy a cable, attach it to a computer and download the firmware update from Epson to update the printer manually which took a long time. Only for it to want another firmware 2 weeks later making us nervous to attempt updating it again.3.) Black is not black, the print quality is not as good as our previous Epson.4.) Although we knew when we purchased it that it does not do double sided photocopying I must add in this review - Why create a printer with double sided printing option and have an auto feed for the scanner with a quick photocopy option, if your not going to allow the user to do double sided scanning/photo copying? Our previous Epson XP-540 was a much cheaper model and yet did all this. This is poor design. All other Epson printers available to us at the time have a paper feeder on the back so we couldn't put the printer against a wall on a narrow bench. We are disappointed with our purchase.
I have only had this printer for a short term but so far I am pleased with its performance except the manual instructions are not clear enough and were confusing when I tried to use the scanner. I had to contact the support group to help me. The help was very good and I was soon back on track. I did not find the grey scale or black and white scanning very clear and was disappointed compared to my previous printer an XP 860 (13 years old). I have yet to try the colour scanning. Overall it is a very good printer. I will update my review once I have used it for some time.
Im a previous Epson Multifunction Inkjet customer. I spent some time researching through the various Brands and models. I only required something for the home office. Scanning and connected ethernet were my priorities. I researched about the new ink tank technology but was scared off by the maintenance tank that on some models has caused fault issues for customers. I settled for the WF-3825 as its got all the features i require. Ive used it without any issues for a few months now. You can also purchase the XXL cartridges that gives far better cost per print. Best value by far in my honest opinion.
Unpacking was a breeze. Was very well packaged, and tape to secure all components.Setup was easy and straight forward. Only used the wifi setup for my local network.Printing seems good, quick and no wrinkles from lots of colour. This printer was to replace a previous Epson which was on the way out. I hope this one will last as long. Like the idea of seperate ink tanks, unlike the tri colour ink setups in other brands.
The Epsom is a reliable fast printer and scanner. I used the Ethernet port to connect to my local network. The ink seems to be waterproof and doesn't run when handling with damp or very wet hands. No need for a laser printer anymore when making labels. You can find original Epsom ink on special at times. It works with Linux, macOS, and iPhones. I previously used brother printers and HP. I'm happy with the Epsom.
