Although the ink cartridges are reasonable in size, they don't last very long and are not empty when the machine says they are. At this point, the machine will not print at all even if other cartridges are full. the cost of four replacement cartridges exceeds the cost of a new printer and, together with shipping costs, Far exceeded the off the shelf costs. I have concluded that this printer which has never worked, is unlikely to become useful ever again. I will dispose of it and purchase a new printer after searching more carefully next time.

Pros: Love this printer it's great for working from home which I've been doing since the virus situation. Trying to get used to the paper feed at the back of the printer as the previous epson I had the paper was in a tray at the front which slid under the printer which was great for saving space. This new printer however is lovely and quiet as there's a quiet mode you can set it too which is great. It's pretty fast when it's printing a page which was a nice surprise. Great touch screen where you have all of the settings which is really easy to use and it takes you through each step. I would definitely recommend this printer for people working at home. I've not tried the scanner part of it yet as I'm mainly printing from it. Cons: The only thing I would say I'm not ... MorePros: Love this printer it's great for working from home which I've been doing since the virus situation. My previous epson had a tray underneath that you load up with paper and slot back in which was great if your limited on space. I'm not a huge fan of the paper feed tray being at the top at the back as the paper leans against the wall and you have to pull the printer that bit more forward on the desk. It's not a major thing by any means but it just makes it a bit tight on space

Does not include enough ink to be able to print after setup. Windows 10 WiFi software very poor.

The printer itself is fine. However, it is unable to be used as it was delivered. When setting up, the printer primes itself using the included ink cartridges. After it finished priming itself, it said the ink level is zero and refused to print. This is not really acceptable... I get it that you don't get full ink cartridges with a new printer, and this is why printers are cheap. However being unable to print at all when it's new out of the box is not acceptable. When you buy something, you expect to able to use it. Secondly, I my Windows 10 computer was unable to set up the printer on WiFi. However, I had no trouble using WiFi printing with my Apple products, or via USB on Windows 10. In summary, the printer is fine. Easy to use, good quality.
22 February 2022

I have had just about the world's worst luck with printers over the years, and setting this printer up I expected a nightmare. Print set up was easy and straight forward, though I will note it connected automatically to my wifi and to my computer with no issues, but after being instructed to turn it off and on again to start a firmware update it could no longer find any wifi and I had to punch in my super long stock wifi password on the crumby keyboard on the front which is not at all user friendly. I don't understand why it couldn't just search for the network again like in the set up. And if it can, definitely make that the "(Recommended)" method.

Epson printer WF-2810
9 December 2020

The printer is quite light, much lighter than the last one. I initially thought it was a bit flimsy but it actually seems quite sturdy. It was fairly easy to set up, I only needed help with the WiFi. The print quality seems fine but not the best I've seen. Certainly good enough for everyday use. It prints quickly. I prefer the paper to load from underneath but that's just my preference. The ink cartridges are very small and I don't know how long they will last and there is no extra large black which is a little disappointing. Overall its a very good printer for the price and will certainly encourage me to continue to use epson printers in the future.

Good performer once setup
11 May 2021

The setup instructions aren't comprehensive enough. There is nothing in the supplied guide about connecting to a computer via USB; I had problems installing the drivers (MacOS) over the internet; I had to go online to work out how to setup Airprint. Once running it's been great, good quality print and very fast; Airprint is very fast too. The only other note is I didn't realise that paper feeds from the back slide. I missed that and thought it had a paper drawer. Not a problem.

Great Value for Money
31 August 2021

Had to get a basic printer that does its job quite urgently, went to local BIGW and bought this one. Light weighted (just over 3kg), ink were affordable. pretty easy to set up if you just follow the prompts (if you can hook your smart phone to a wifi, this should be easy too) only bought it today and printed about 30pages of documents so cant really say much about its performance but very happy purchase so far. ink (both black+white and colour) are available almost everywhere and inexpensive.

Printer had issues from date of installation.
20 April 2022

Constantly went into testing mode for upto 15mins when asked to print. regularly had to reprint due to Nozzle and Head issues. Calls to Tech services recommended download Firmware Updater Tool. Initially screen told me unable to. Then printer went into Recovery Mode. and stayed there. Followed online instructions. Nothing worked Have replaced the printer for same model following suggestion from Tech that It could have been an installed software error that was causing the issue. I'll give the brand one more chance.

Too many problems setting up
18 May 2021

My old XP-200 I’ve been using for 9 years. It keep giving blocked nozzle so renewed it with epson WF-2180. When printing on the old machine it would find the printer on Epson IPrint. Took along time to set up new printer with the same wifi and it worked ok. Next morning it would not find printer, very disappointed. I got support and they told me place the printer nearer the router to trouble shoot. Still didn’t find local printer so the guided me through manual location and it worked. I will relocate to my study and hope I don’t have to this each time I want to print.had trouble registering item but now ok
