Ere Perez - Arnica Concealer - Chai

I really wanted to love this product but, sadly, it has not worked for me.I purchased the Ere Perez Arnica Concealer in ‘Honey’ after reading some glowing (no pun intended) reviews online. I was excited by the prospect of banishing my perpetual dark circles by a ‘cruelty free’ product and intrigued about the inclusion of arnica as an ingredient. There are also a reasonable range of shades to suit a variety of complexions.Regrettably, however, I must confess that I have struggled with the blendability of this product. No matter what tool I use to apply it – whether that be my little finger, a brush or a Beauty Blender – or the amount of time I take to pat it gently into my skin (ranging from five to fifteen minutes), the concealer simply sits on the top layer of my skin, leaving an unfortunate ‘I’m wearing concealer’ residue. The ‘best’ results I have achieved – i.e. concealer semi-blended – occurred when I applied the product immediately after applying moisturiser and sunscreen, while the skin was still dewy.I will, however, say that the concealer has lasted throughout the day. I am oily skinned girl and most concealers rarely make it through the day. In this respect, the Ere Perez concealer does well. A little also goes a long way. I would therefore suggest it is good value for money, if only one could blend it more easily.Having read other, more positive reviews, I can only conclude that perhaps this concealer works better on drier skin types.

I bought this concealer after a bad bout of acne on my chin. I thought my usual concealer might have been breaking me out, so I wanted something new. The fact that this is a clean, no-nasties and natural concealer put my mind at ease that I wasn't irritating my acne prone skin. And it certainly worked! My break outs have been clearing up. It isn't as full coverage/matte as I'd hoped, but overall it does the job for an every day concealer. As someone with VERY (I. mean. VERY) pale skin, I also love that Ere Perez has a colour for fair skin that isn't too pink or dark for my fair skin tone. What I love the most is that I'm using a cruelty free, Aussie made brand which won't irritate my skin. Highly recommend and can't wait to try more from this brand! :) xo

I love Ere Perez products but wasn't;t impressed with this one sadly. I love the idea of Arnica's healing nature but this doesn't blend well and when you blend it just disappears. Doesn't give any real coverage even on minor blemishes unless you layer it thick and then it doesn't last. Even a light dusting of finishing powder takes it off. Very disappointing.
