Ere Perez Natural almond 10ml Mascara Mauve

Ere Perez Avocado Waterproof Mascara is a natural mascara that features a blend of oils. It’s supposed to be really healthy for your lashes, helping them grow and strengthen. However, I found I was not much of a fan of this mascara. For starters, it is not easy to apply. I find the shape of the brush to not be my favorite - it’s very long and straight and hard to keep the mascara from getting only on your lashes. Between that and how wet the mascara is from I’m guessing the oils, I often end up with mascara around my eyes, not just on the lashes, which is especially annoying when it’s the last step and you’re having to blot off some of your already done makeup. I do at least like that the mascara is waterproof. Even though it gets everywhere while I’m applying it, once it’s on, it stays in place well. It’s also easy to take off, safe for more sensitive eyes, and a nice dark black color if you apply enough layers. Ultimately, I would not use this product again. Maybe someone who likes a very natural look with mascara and isn’t trying to layer it as much could enjoy it though.

Some pros consisted of this mascara are that it’s clean, cruelty free, and sustainable. It’s also 100% vegan, PFA, and paraben free. I love that avocado is used as an ingredient. The cons are: it’s not waterproof or smudge proof like it claims to be. It smudged every time I applied my make up. I also ended up with raccoon eyes by the end of the day or night. It took me at least three times of applying to give my eyelashes any definition. The formula is super dry. It didn’t curl my lashes whatsoever. Just lengthened them and that’s about it. For a waterproof mascara, I expected a drier formula, but I found that the mascara smudged on my eyelid after initial application. Best mascara on the market

I just tried this mascara recently and I’m never going back. It adds lots of natural, effortless volume without any clumps and holds the curl all day, better than any other curling or lifting mascara I’ve used. I’m so happy it’s waterless and contains natural, lash nourishing ingredients. I’ve noticed much less lash fallout since I’ve started using it and my lashes feel stronger and healthier. It doesn’t smudge or flake at all but removing it at the end of the day is so easy which is amazing as I don’t have to rub my eyes to remove it. Will keep buying this mascara and don’t see this changing at all, I hope they never stop making it.Love that is comes in brown as well which is best for my blue eyes.

Great mascara

I love the colour and consistency of this mascara. I like to wear a softer brown colour over the summer months. Very easy application, the applicator separates the lashes beautifully with no clumping. I love how this mascara makes your lashes look amazing, much thicker and longer, yet still looking very natural. My only negative comment is that it is not as hard wearing as the Avacado waterproof mascara.

I really wanted to love

I really wanted to love this. The brush is fine and I actually liked the application and the way it wore. But it was way too difficult to remove. I always hit my lashes with water before remover to soften the days mascara. This didn’t budge. If it’s a waterproof formula I wasn’t aware of that. It then took two different makeup removers to get off. Won’t repurchase when there are too many other great mascaras (Hello Tower 28!)

Impossible to use

I've become a big fan of Ere's lip and eye pencils but the mascara is a hard no. The formula is on the dryer side - not sure if it's meant to be that way or if it dried out in the warehouse. The wand bristles are too compact to get product on without smushing the brush against your lid. What product I was able to get onto my lashes was barely visible. The mouth of the tube is so small that it pushes product up the brush and won't go back inside, creating a mess under the cap. The pictures I included are after just 2 uses. My Ilia mascara never looked so messy even after a month of use. Where are all these 5 star reviews coming from? Do I not know how to mascara??? Love it!

I love this mascara. It really makes your eyelashes look longer and it separates your lashes without even trying. I would have given it five stars, but the mascara is pretty hard to take off. I have had to use a lot of eye makeup remover and coconut oil and it eventually comes off. Ere Perez ginkgo micellar water, is what is said to use, to wash the mascara off, but I cant find that makeup wash anywhere. I do recommend this mascara for those of you who can find the Ginkgo Micellar Wash.

Lovely colour but dry formula

Bought this for the colour - like a bright violet - as very few natural brands seem to offer coloured mascaras and was super excited to receive it. Sadly I’ve subsequently realised (after using) that it’s not vegan (and I am) so this has put a bit of a dampener on my feelings about it! I still say the colour is great but a couple of things I don’t love (on top of the fact it’s not vegan 🌱): (1) the small size - the wand is hard to work with as you don’t have the same length and angle options and (2) the formula itself is quite dry so it feels like it’s hard to get much on the lashes. Not sure if I got an older batch but there certainly wasn’t any visible surplus at the end of the brush where there usually is with other brands. Perfect colour, doesn't clump, natural look with length, great packaging

Love this mascara. Was looking for an option that was a bit more subtle for when I'm not wearing eyeliner. The dark brown colour is perfect. It's not super volumizing, more lengthening I would say. Gives a great natural look, but still bring attention to your eyelashes. It doesn't smudge at all when I wear it on the top only. One of the really hot days, I wore on top and bottom lashes and there was a tiny bit of studying on the bottom, but be ause the xolour is dark brown, it actually looked nice like a smokey eye. So overall seems pretty waterproof, but easy to remove with oil cleanser. A highlight is the packaging- perfect size, not too chunks so easy to travel with, and no clumps come out when you open it!!! Big plus. Would likely get again.
