The Evolve 3-in-1 Bouncer was ready to use right out of the box. It is extremely easy to raise and lower the incline level with only one hand (and one foot), which is very helpful when holding an infant. It comes with three different positions plus a very useful flat position for storing away or taking on the go. Without the newborn insert, she sits very comfortably in the bouncer. She has room to grow, and feels very secure. My older daughter is 2 years old, and still within the weight limit, so I love that I can easily remove the strap portion altogether and she can use the bouncer as a chair. One complaint is I wish it was a little smaller and a little lighter. I notice this when moving it around the house from room to room, and up and down stairs, especially when I'm also carrying a baby in my other arm. I also noticed the newborn insert, when installed, flapped over and dragged on the floor when I tried moving the bouncer from room to room. I had to lift the bouncer a little higher and in an awkward position to avoid it from dragging. Overall, this bouncer is well designed, has lots of great features, and can truly grow with your kids from newborn to toddler. I have a 7-month-old chunky boy, and a 3-year-old petite girl who used this bouncer, which I've had for a few weeks now, and here's what I've found...PROS: Easily adjustable, which this bouncer touts as being able to use from newborn (with a comfy, supportive insert) to toddler size, which fit mine well. Very comfortable, soft fabric, high quality, lovely charcoal color. Extremely easy to adjust the angle from lying almost flat to sitting up, to about a 70 degree angle (sometimes, too easy, and baby dips a little too quickly!) This adjustment is done with your foot, perfect for postpartum moms who do not want to break their back bending over. Easy buckles, secure tight straps that do not strangle chubby baby legs. Lightweight, easy to move. The base is slightly more bulky than some other bouncers but it’s worth it for the extra plush seat and frame. We’re often using this at meal times so the adults can actually eat together- the Evolve sits on the floor next to the table, easily bounced with my foot to keep baby happy!I can see us using this for many more months and it’s great that it can grow with her to toddlerhood (my husband has also requested one in adult size!).
As a first time parent this has been a game changer/life saver. Our sweet boy has to sit up for quite a bit after feedings and holding him constantly was mentally draining and physically difficult. He loves sitting in his bouncer, it allows him to observe the world and interact, move all his limbs and get some energy out! We read to him while he's in it and look at picture books - it's been a great addition to our baby gear. I would highly recommend it to any new parent. I've even used it in the bathroom while I shower and next to my vanity while I get ready. He loves it and so do we!

Unlike most baby products, it is already assembled straight out of the box so all I had to do was slide it out of the packaging. Right out of the box, it has the newborn insert in place which was perfect as my little one could still use it when we first received this item. On top of that, it has made my like more convenient. I can shower while he sits in the bouncer just outside the bathtub and he is happy and content for the entire time. I don't know how we did things without it.I like to leave it out because it adds a bit of modern look to my home, but if you do need to fold it up it is very compact. Figuring out how to fold it can be a bit tricky the first time, but if you pull the little latch on the side and then step on the pedal, it goes completely flat. To keep the infant insert from flopping around, just buckle the clips shut and you are golden! I wish you could lock it in place when it was folded up, but that's not a big deal.The only reason I took away a star is because it is a bit of a bummed for those of us with bigger kiddos since the weight limit is only 20lbs when not in the toddler mode. I want to use this thing forever but I maybe have a month left I can use it until my son can sit unassisted and use it as a toddler seat. This is a fantastic bouncer. As a mom of 3, I've used my share of the other bouncer brands, & I wish this one had existed for my first! It's sturdy, easy to use (& secure), made of high quality materials & looks great. This will last through from infant-hood to beyond toddler years. (The instructions themselves are relatively clear.)The clips are difficult to tuck into the slits when converted to a toddler chair.The warning label is top center of the chair. First things first: this bouncer is gorgeous. If you're looking for a bouncer that your little one loves AND a bouncer that looks great in your house then I would highly recommend the Evolve.My son was 3 months old when we received this and it is perfect for his current size after removing the newborn insert. The newborn insert removes easily- it just slides off of the harness in the front. The harness itself is really secure. I appreciate that it has buckles instead of buttons or velcro. He's pretty big for his age- 24 inches long and around 14-15 lbs- but he definitely has room to grow into it. He is an ACTIVE little guy and he can get a good bounce going but never to the point where it seems like he'll topple over. The base of the bouncer is pretty wide and seems like it can handle a lot. It's also very easy to adjust to different positions. You simply unlock it with a switch on the back, push down on the lever, and it slides up or down to your desired position.I haven't tried to wash the cover yet but it looks like it will come off of the base pretty easily. I was still holding on to my Bjorn bouncer that I used for my first born (which I swore by and felt was a lifesaver).As they hold the same function, I thought, what more could Ergobaby do? My old bouncer is solid.Boy, is this Ergobaby Evolve an UPGRADE in every way! I'm baffled and feel like I went from a Kia to a Rolls Royce for my baby!Ergobaby, you did well!!- The fabric is softer and more high quality. (I don't think this sucker's going to fade after 10 washes or years even) Maybe I can get away with just one cover for the next few years!- You don't have to adjust the positioning of your baby with a hand lever (sometimes that is inconvenient).
