Our Cocoon Swaddle Sacks are designed to be both easy to use and difficult to escape from. This zip-up swaddle is TOG rated for warmth to keep a baby snug and securely swaddled without the need for complicated wrapping from day one. Being TOG-rated means that the 0.2 TOG can be used on its own from room temperatures 24°C / 75°F + with no blankets in the bassinet or crib to make this a safe sleep option for a newborn or baby. Parents can layer up underneath as needed for warmth, and follow our handy FREE room thermometer and what to wear guide included with the product to help them dress their child appropriately. The Cocoon Swaddle Sack is made with GOTS certified organic cotton, with a of touch elastane. This means it's firm enough to restrict startle reflex whilst still allowing stretch and movement for healthy growth. The stretch also allows for full chest expansion when breathing, added comfort, and for a baby to move its hands into a self-settling position inside the swaddle. The soft, breathable organic cotton is certified non-toxic, dyed with water based dyes, and gentle on newborn skin, and skin prone to eczema breakouts. A zip enclosure also protects your child's delicate skin, and the handy arm poppers transition the Cocoon from an arms-in swaddle to arms-out sleep sack when baby is showing signs of rolling. The bell shaped design is approved by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as being hip-healthy, and promotes proper joint development in the hips and shoulders joints. Finally, the two-way zipper makes for quick and easy diaper changes during sleep with minimal disruptions.

Love love love! Have used these from 4 weeks and baby sleeps great. We purchased 2 to have on rotation. Just ordered the next size up. 11 week old is now sleeping with her arms out and we went straight from arms in to out with no problems ! The tog rating takes the guess work out of keeping Bub warm.

Cannot live without!

Wasnt convinced about it at first but when bub wouldn't sleep with a muslin swaddle, we basically did everything we could, including purchasing an ergopouch swaddle. Never looked back since!!! we now have SO MANY IN EACH COLOUR and already purchasing the next size up! its one thing we cant live without! He sleeps so well with the ergopouch. Its super easy to use and it has double zip to make the middle of the night nappy changes easy. I exclusively use all of my muslin clothes as a burp cloth now. Bye bye struggle town! I was also pleased to see that the Victorian Government includes an ergopouch as well for newborns in their new born "care bag". I highly recommend! Definitely a great investment for bubs comfort!

Lovely healthy sleeping bag. My one gripe is that the pointed end of the zip sometimes spikes baby upwards into his neck, because the flap that protects baby's neck from the zip often gets rubbed to the side to expose the zip by baby moving his head. I do wonder whether, if the zip pushed into a baby's artery, it could kill them due to stopping oxygen to the brain (it only takes seconds to lose consciousness if the artery gets squashed - I have had it happen to me when put in a headlock by a friend once), so this design flaw unnerves me and means I am always checking the flap and moving it back over the zip whenever he is being spiked in the neck by the upturned zip. Perhaps the flap should be stiffened to stop this happening. The end of the zip should definitely be ... MoreLovely healthy sleeping bag. Great for colder sleeping climates
17 February 2024

We live in a northern climate in a drafty old farmhouse. There are times where it gets to -40° F in the winter. After have a winter baby, I panicked realizing how cold our room was and how unprepared we were for a comfortable sleep set up. I purchased the 2.5 tog sleep sack, 1.0 Tog Zippy and Butterfly Cardi for our newborn. It's definitely given me peice of mind and I love the set up! The material of the sleep sack is thick, soft and stretchy and has held up and washed great the past two months we have had it. Im excited to get into the 3+ tog rating when he gets bigger for next year.Cons for me- material seems to bunch up a little bit because it is so stretchy. I find myself have to adjust the fabric from bunching between the Butterfly Cardi and his sleep sack ... MoreWe live in a northern climate in a drafty old farmhouse. I find myself have to adjust the fabric from bunching between the Butterfly Cardi and his sleep sack frequently. The zipper cover protector is also pretty stretchy and the zipper will pop out and poke him in the face sometimes which is a bummer.Otherwise I highly recommend for colder sleeping climates, it's the next best thing to wool in my opinion! Iwould love to see some wool products someday too!

Great swaddle
14 January 2024

I used ErgoPouches with my 1st son and knew I needed them again for my second. I love them. This one is thicker and cozier that 1 tog pouch and is perfect for winter babies. I love how easy it is to put my little one in and just zip up, no need for fumbling with velcro with an unhappy baby or sleepy eyes. Absolutely recommend all the ErgoPouches.

Nice and soft, but not machine washable
5 March 2023

I wanted a thin pillow for my toddler to sleep on since he is a stomach sleeper. The pillow is nice and soft and the pillow case is good quality. However as others have noted, the pillow itself is not machine washable. It completely clumped up with the first wash. ergo pouch reimbursed my order because the pillow is now unusable. I’m going to purchase another and will not put it in the washing machine this time.

Swaddles my baby but is
10 June 2024

Swaddles my baby but is not completely restricted in his arm movements due to the stretchy top part of the bag. Lovely material that is high quality.Arm holes are quite small and chest measurements is the same. If your baby is quite long in the body/arms would suggest going up a size and base size on length of baby not age

The Perfect Cold Weather Newborn Sleep Sack
26 February 2024

I love this sleep sack! When my second baby was born in January, I knew she would need a warmer sleep sack, but she has a strong startle reflex, so we needed something that would swaddle her arms. I also was looking specifically for a sleep sack that was organic cotton because the material of what I put on my baby’s very absorbent skin is important to me. This sleep sack checked all of those boxes and has worked perfectly for us. We live in North Carolina, so the winter is mild enough for a 2.5 TOG. She has slept very well in this and I absolutely love the soft material. The closed off arms have swaddled her perfectly, and it’s so nice to have the option to let her arms out for when she no longer needs swaddling. I will definitely be buying more sleep sacks from ... MoreI love this sleep sack! I have used these bags since my Great Grandson came into my life. They are an absolute necessary for a great night sleep both for Mum, Dad,and Grandparents. As soon as my Grandson gets his sleeping bag on he is so relaxed for 15 minutes for a cuddle then into bed. It took 5 night to develop this routine and now he is used to it.So is Mum and Dad. Just ordered ans recieved the latest size. He is 3 yrs old.

Wont use anything else
22 May 2024

I’ve tried other sleep suits/bags but in the end the only ones both my kids loved were the ERGO pouches. They look super comfy, even id sleep in one. Such great quality and so many different variations to them to adapt to bubs transitions of arms in and out. Don’t look elsewhere, I can guarantee your bubba will love these.
