Adequate chair but plenty of refinements to improve on.
Things to Improve on:- The lowest height of arm rest seems to be too high, and hinders the ability to slide chair under desk. Definitely appreciate the ability to go lower.- The fabric seat seems to have started to soften and loosen within 2 weeks of use.- Will be good if its more accessible to reach for the recline tension and locking knobs.- Pads on arm rest could be softer, cos it is pretty stiff.- Had a few moments where the back rest suddenly slides down to the lowest position by itself.- While mesh is fantastic for tropical ambient usage, it does tend to catch some cloth fibers so regular vacuuming is required to maintain a clean look.- The washer does not fit the hole that it is meant to fit during installation, so I simple screw on without it. The manufacturing precision probably needs some review.Things I like:- Breathable fabric definitely a plus point for home use without aircon unlike the usual office setting where temp are intentionally set way cooler.- Lumber support is adequate for prolong sitting.- Once you experience using head rest, you almost cant do without it. Good to have when leaning back to rest and think about work.- Flat top on the star base makes it comfortable and not cutting when resting sole of feet on it. (based on home based using)- Entire seat package comes neatly and carefully well packed.... Show more

Good Support and Foundation
Overall i feel that this is a good support chair for the back and bottom. The bottom mesh for the seat does help the bottom and thigh to be in a good position for blood flow. A lot of chair upon sitting for long hours does cause cramps, but this so far, I have not experienced. On the leaning back and locking function, it does not stretch too low down to 160 degrees, as it is for a working chair. I must commend that the locking function is stable, as to a lot of other chairs, the locking function does lock but it wasn't firm, meaning it can return to non-lock state. Headrest wise, i feel that the protrusion behind the headrest can be improvised, as I will somehow knock to it and part of my clothes or towel gets hooked on. The up-down adjustment is good and can be improvised on the locking of different levels, so it may not loosen overtime (or so I feel it might, maybe it wouldn't). One of the best part of this chair I will commend the wheel base and wheels. The material is dense and stable, unlike many computer chair it is made of plastic or some cheap metal that isn't painted well. This wheel base gives a very stable feeling that this chair has a good foundation to begin with. The wheels are also very smooth and rotation isn't chalked easily. I will recommend this chair, and I feel this is definitely one of the best computer chairs out there so far!... Show more

High quality chair and packaging designer needs to be given a pay raise!
I used to own an old computer chair that I customised over the years, better rubber wheels, add on arm rest cushion etc. It still gave me upper back problems and finally I succumbed to buying Ergotune. No regrets so far, as the packaging itself already scored full marks for me. The step by step guide to setting it up tells me that the creators has thought it through and through. Then the chair itself is amazing. The mesh enable air to pass through making the chair really cool. It is also quite firm to my surprise. Many many points of adjustments helped me customise the chair into work mode, or game mode. I can recline on it for hours gaming, no more butt pain. There are a few areas I wish it can be improved on though, the arm rest can be abit loose when I use it to ... Also the corners of the chair should have cushion or sponge as it can scratch you sometimes when you bum into it. Overall, its a 8.5/10 for me. :)... Show more

Love the Chair, Hate the Armrest and Headrest
As a petite person, I loved the Ergotune Classic. It was not only cooling and comfortable with great lumbar support, the armrest could be adjusted to just the right height, and the chair goes low enough for my feet to be placed flat on the floor, putting me in the perfect sitting posture - something that is very rare for someone who is 155cm tall. So I was very excited to 'upgrade' to the Supreme and try out the fancy armrests and headrest... It was a huge mistake. To be fair, the cooling mesh and lumbar support still works great, and the seat still lowers enough, but I could have stuck with the Classic for that. The armrest at its lowest position are so way high that my shoulders are always in a shrug position and I've got headaches a few times from the tense shoulders after getting the Supreme. Also because the armrest so high up, the chair cannot go under my desk no matter how I try to swivel the armrests out of the way, so now I can neither place my arms flat on the armrests nor on my desk, putting me in a permanently awkward position. The headrest also stick out so far from the seat at its lowest that if I lean back fully my back will be hunched. I really want to rip out the armrests and headrest and set them on fire! So disappointing... This chair is not made for heights from 150cm as advertised. If you're petite, skip the Supreme.... Show more

Neck rest too high for petites, bruises from heavy build
As someone who is 148cm, the neck rest is still too high even on its lowest setting, so the neck area feels awkward and uncomfortable. The arm rests, although very customisable in terms of its angles for most people, can sometimes still feel a bit too wide apart.Having said that, the lumbar support and soft arm rests are pretty comfortable. My feet are able to touch the ground on the lowest height setting. My biggest gripe with the chair is that it is extremely heavy - I cannot count how many bruises I've gotten from bumping into it, which happens pretty frequently since it is a pretty bulky chair. The classic might be a better option for you if neck rest height + weight is also a concern for you.... Show more

No Regrets~ My 1st Owned ErgoTune Supreme..!
To be honest, have been contemplating on this purchase for months since last year Dec as the price-point is the main consideration for me. Constantly checking out their site for ongoing promotions hoping for the best deals ever. Having done my homework, there are frequent sales promotion happening each month on site. By far, buying through Atome is the best saver option available. People will be thinking "siao ah" (crazy) - fancy buying an ergonomic chair for $500 plus. Ergonomic chair can be found everywhere now and is the chair that most working people would go for usually. Can also simply head to other buying platforms to get similar or commonly known big brands at a matching price or even relatively cheaper cost and why ErgoTune. But being the practical me, I ... Ergonomic chair can be found everywhere now and is the chair that most working people would go for usually. Can also simply head to other buying platforms to get similar or commonly known big brands at a matching price or even relatively cheaper cost and why ErgoTune. But being the practical me, I will always go for functionality with the price tag in check as well; not just its branded or it is the most well sought after popular brand now. I have the tendency to experiencing backaches due to my poor sitting posture (slouching) often. Finally succumb to this bulk purchase as I managed to get my cousin to make the purchase on my behalf using Atome and partly is also I happen to come across a video on ErgoTune while I was screening through the news feed on Google using my mobile phone one day. The video itself is an interview with the founders and one other guy representing ErgoTune narrating their milestone and of the brand. How things eventually falls into place to the establishment of the brand. What caught my attention is the mentioning of them selling their ideas to the 1st buying customer at that time while not having any ready made product or even a final prototype in place. This acts as another push factor for me in supporting their inspirations and supporting local brand. Am glad that this decision of mine indeed made a difference for me. This chair is my must have whenever I am working on the laptop or for leisure - like reading a book of my interest. Adjustments can also be made on your own for the comfort of your head, neck, shoulder, back and even arms in reference to various height of the masses or based on individual preferences. Most importantly, the ErgoTune chair DuraWeave™ hybrid mesh allows ventilation for prolonged sitting position without feeling sweaty or any uneasiness. Delivery is seamless as the ErgoTune team will provide constant updates via sms text & email once a purchase is made. The uncle helping with the assembly of the chair is friendly too. Having no regret in buying my 1st owned ErgoTune Supreme!... Show more

The overall chair feels great especially the middle back support as though you are laying back on a vertical bed, feels comfortable. The seat base feels unique. It allows seat adjustable forward and backward just like a car seat depending on your personal needs. The head rest allows different adjustable levels forward and backward, up or down depending on your comfort level.Initially I was hesitant about buying an ergonomic chair and despite being aware of its usage as compare with a normal chair with basic function. And not to mention about investing in a 500 bucks chair which is not easy for me to immediately decide to buy. After making the decision to invest in a proper chair with its necessary comfort, I have to slowly accept its cost needed to produce a ... I am lucky to be the only customer during that time to try on the chair 1 hour before closing.Overall the ergotune is a nice chair to have for a good seating experience:).... Show more

Seriously, this is your best chair?
In less than a month, the chair started squeaking. Which meant that I have to dismantle something that I’ve already built less than a month ago due to manufacturing problems. Honestly wish I returned the chair on the 21 days refund ****. But oh well.Armrest advertise as 5D but the armrest is too high by default. Should’ve made the default lower with option to make it higher. Armrest Front and back option should be there as well instead of having multiple ways to make your armrest move the same direction (left and right).Headrest does not stay up when resting on it. Falls easily and again, redundant adjustment that nobody needs. Head rest is able to go up and down, forward and back. Headrest by default is already pretty forward so nobody would touch that function. ... MoreIn less than a month, the chair started squeaking. Headrest by default is already pretty forward so nobody would touch that function. Basically to sum it up, most adjustment is practically useless. I’m using steelcase chair for work and I adjust my chair a lot because theirs is actually practical and functional.Honestly good materials poor execution. Whoever design this chair needs to study the competition and not sell a quack version of a 5D armrest chair and ****** headrest. Severely disappointed.... Show more

Useless headrest
Have used it for 1.5 months. Lumbar support is good as height and stiffness can be adjusted. However, the headrest is very uncomfortable. My height is 162cm. The back rest is already quite high. The headrest is protruding too forward. No matter how I adjusted, it's against back of my head rather than support my neck because it cannot be any lower. It's rather uncomfortable if I wanted to lean back to see my computer screen. I finally decided to remove the headrest. Besides, it's very stiff to tilt the chair. Difficult to recline for a short break. Considering the price of the chair, it wasn't as comfortable as expected. Too bad we discarded the carton too early and couldn't return the chair.... Show more
