Good but could be better. The rubber is a little bit too pliable to securely stop the strap coming off the guitar. They are a pretty good alternative to full blown strap locks if you don't want to fit new hardware to your instrument.

I usually get some form of strap lock system but decided to try these out. They are very sturdy and reliable. I've tried to pull the strap off while having these in place. Nope not coming off. Best part is you don't need to change the strap buttons at all!

If you are looking for some good strap locks for your guitar, these are very good and very inexpensive. They do the job nicely by holding your strap onto the guitar studs. I highly recommend them. Perfect for the job at hand.

There isn’t a whole lot you can say about strap locks. They all look the same and they all function the same way. The reason I chose these strap locks was because they were Ernie Ball Strap Locks. Ernie Ball is a brand I trust and AMS was offering them at a very reasonable price.When I’m playing my guitar I don’t want to drop it because the strap came off. I trust my valued guitars to Ernie Ball Strap locks and I appreciate the value AMS offers to its customers.
These are so simple but actually work, and you don’t need to do anything to your guitar or strap. I wasn’t sure what to rate them for “value” since you could argue that they’re really just bits of rubber - but then they are exactly the right size & compound for the job, and when you look at the price of other solutions these are way less expensive, especially if you have more than one guitar.I just wish you could buy an all-black pack if you wanted to, but I’m still very happy with this purchase.
I have installed strap locks on my basses in the past, and these make it so much easier to protect your instruments without any kind of installation. Just put your strap on, and put the strap block on over it. It is a really snug fit. It does prevent your strap from falling off, and your guitar/bass from dropping onto the floor.

The reason for 4 stars is just the colors don't match the picture. It looks like it was bleached out. Quality wise it seems okay so far
I was hesitant due to the reviewers who mentioned that these don't work, or are hard to remove, etc. Well ladies and gentleman I am here to say that these rubber strap "locks" work perfectly and as described. Not only that I don't have to drill or modify my precious strat. Also have to disagree with the several reviewers that stated they don't work with a case as they work fine with my gator case. Great buy.
It does an amazing job in fixing the strap to the guitar body. My strap was loose, and since I used the blocks, the strap has gotten fixed to the body and won't get unbuttoned from the guitar. It is a most. I bought two packs for all my guitars/basses.
