Let me start by saying I love Versace Eros Flame EDP and purchased my first bottle at Nordstroms. As I'm almost out of the small bottle, I was amazed to find this large bottle on Amazon for nearly half the price. I read the reviews and many people saying it's the real deal so I took a chance, even though there are no refunds.When I received the bottle, I went through all the YouTube videos showing you how to tell if the bottle is authentic. I sprayed it and was immediately disappointed. Not only does this NOT smell like the real deal, it has a really sick sweet and metallic undertone to it that lingers in your nose. It will give you a headache within about a minute and you will have to wash it off with soap and water and still feel like it's lingering on you. It is NOT a good smell.The real Versace Eros Flame EDP smells like the mountains in spring time, like a walk in the rain. It's the happiest smell that eases my stress and puts me in a calm place. It is literallly my favorite scent of all time, which is why I'm positive something is wrong with this stuff. I'm not sure if was stored in an overheated room for a year or it it was watered down or tampered with somehow. Who knows? All I know is there is something not right about the scent and I should have saved my my $56 for the real stuff..

With over 7000 positive reviews, for the life of me, I don't know how that happens, because even though smells are subjective, you'd think with thousands, there'd be a preponderance of opinions making this product a good one? I also have no idea if there is such a thing as a 'bad batch'. Anyway, my advice? If you're thinking this is a product you're still interested in at least just spend the relatively little amount to get the small container.

This is a great fragrance for spring and summer. It’s fresh, spicy, and woodsy. I mostly smell mandarin orange, black pepper, vanilla, cedar, sandalwood, and patchouli. There’s a bunch of other notes but I don’t smell them, maybe you will. You will get small hints of the original Eros in this one. On my skin it lasts 8 hours, which is great for a fresh fragrance. The compliment factor is high on this one as well. Unfortunately I’ve been hearing it’s discontinued so get it while you still can before the stock dries up. Highly recommend.

Versace Eros Flame is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men launched in 2018. I heard that this one is getting DISCONTINUED guys so get it as soon as you can because this is a gem. Citrus at the start, florals and spices in the middle then a sweet and powdery dry down. Great longevity and Projection. Amazing when you need something sexy for a date, this is just compliment after compliment. I would say Versace Eros Flame is a fragrance for a strong, Passionate, self-confident man who is deeply in touch with his emotions. That’s not always easy, and yet this is a safe and solid pick. It is office safe too. The projection with three to the chest area, will last several hours at two feet. Then it drops 12 inches, and a couple hours it becomes a delightful skin scent. If you think no scent trail, that’s not correct. This has more of a scent trail than the original EDP! That’s the diabolical brilliance, and this EDP is powerful in heat or cold. It’s a scent that people 25 to 50 will like in particular. Also this gets a lot of compliments. That is alone a reason to celebrate. You’ll love the red Versace box, and the atomizer on this is far above average. As usual the Medusa head and gold colored cap, give it a look of sophistication and class.

The fragrance starts off with a citrusy note - a strong orange scent, which is pleasing and smells almost like a proper car freshener which isn’t a bad thing tbh. Once the perfume dries down, the original Eros DNA begins to give way. The vanilla scent is very gourmand and smells phenomenally good when you’re wearing it. It doesn’t project as heavily as the Eros. Rather it stays around you in a toned and refined way which is good if you’re a older person (30s or so) or in a professional environment like me. I love this, and the tiny one ounce bottle was super expensive, ha I went thru twothirds of the bottle within a few months because I was so in love with it. Ive definitely slowed down my usage and treasure it more for special occasions to make it last longer.
