Overall:Great guitar! I've been eyeing this guitar for awhile now, and finally got my hands on one. Got it home, plugged it in, plays great! Such great tone, and playability is soo good! I've always been a fan of the EC 1000 series. They play easy, smooth neck. Plays as great as it looks! Just one of a kind! Highly recommend!

I was very happy with the guitar the way it was straight out the box.The setup was almost perfect with minimal adjustments concerning action and intonation. Locking tuners also work quite efficiently.Seymour Duncan Sentient & pickups are a good pair although I would say it isn't necessarily geared to drop tuning since there seemed to be just a tad too much high end as compared to my other guitars, however, I imagine these pickups would go perfect with genres such as prog metal/rock.Overall I'm very happy with this guitar and I would definitely reccomend it.

The ESP EC-1000 is one of the best sub $1000.00 guitars on the market. I have two of these and they do not disappoint. Both of the EC's that I have are "B" Stock guitars, however it was very hard to find anything wrong at all. The color scheme on this one is outstanding! They are very picky with their guitars. Everything about these guitars scream high quality. Fit, finish, selection of wood, and electronics. best of all for me, these are not made in China. I guess you can't stop it totally, but I made a commitment to reduce items that I purchase made from China. I will never buy a guitar made in China again. Thanks ESP!
Less than 1/2 of what I paid for Gibson, and 85% of value. Breathtaking finish. Awesome feel and tone. Pathetically cheap electronics and soldering- fixed that for a around $200 but shouldn't have had to. Frets needed leveling and polishing.
I received one of the last made in Korea models and this guitar is great. I play cleans, metal and everything in-between.
This guitar plays as good as it looks. Its great for just about anything you want to play. It has a wide range of tone making it a very versatile guitar. I would definitely recommend this guitar to a friend.
My second LTD EC-1000. Fit and finish is spot on. I tried these to save wear and tear on my vintage Les Pauls and couldn't be more satisfied.
This is a buetiful guitar. Seems to be very well made and is very easy to play. Mine is a little different looking than the one portrayed on the GC website but it's still very nice looking. My only complaint is I think the nut is plastic but that can be remedied easily enough.
Overall:Reviews are subjective... What feels great, sounds great, etc... To me, may be very different than anyone else.I live Les Paul's, I've tried a few from Tributes to ones made in the 50's etc. But... I have the feel and always want different pickups. Right out of the box, this was amazing. The tones you can get with a roll of the volume band or tone are fantastic. From light bluesy sounds, to heavy metal, to crunchy 80's hard rock.I'm blown away. I've played and owned much more expensive American guitars from Fender, Gibson, and PRs, including artist editions... And I honestly put this over them. It's light weight, but has amazing sustain. The neck is fantastic. The finish and look is perfect. I'm sure I'll be sanding the finish off the back of the neck, but ... MoreOverall:Reviews are subjective... This is an amazing beast for hard rock, bluesy rock, and I'm sure metal, although I don't play much metal. This is one of those "I can't put it down" guitars. Now I just gotta get a case for this beauty. I looked so long for this kinda guitar, and never thought to try ESP LTD ... Glad I did.
