I love my vulture guitar, just received it and wasn’t too happy that it wasn’t tuned and the e string was extremely loose. I’m still freakin happy! I love my guitar and thank you for getting it to me so quickly. Also purchased a an acoustic, can’t wait to receive it. I am looking forward to purchasing more guitars with AMS!You rock!

I'm in the midst of a mid-life crisis and I've found a love of guitar again. I took the opportunity to buy the guitars I couldn't afford when I was young. It is a fantastic guitar not only for metal but also clean.For the distortion it has a fabulous thrash and heavy tone to it and for playability it is just all around perfect for anybody and sitting down it’s just so nice and it doesn’t hurt and it’s not hard to hold in your lap like other v’s and standing up it is also perfect it doesn’t move around unless u need it to and it’s as easy as sitting and playingFor the clean... I was just amazed by the neck pick up with clean it just sounded so full and loud and awesome. If u wanted to play any Metallica clean song or actually just any it would be perfect and u wouldn’t need any other guitar for clean or dirty it’s just a all around 24/7 guitar I recommend it a 100%

Awesome guitar! Guitar looks,sounds,and the neck is smooth to play fast. However, when sitting and play this axe; it was annoying after 30-40 minutes. I've played RR models and "V's". They were Less of a burden. I dont play shows anymore, but i would definitely recommend this for gig's or jamming. Stayed in turn and had highs, and great for chugging.
My first flying V (or any special shape guitar) I have ever bought turns out to be a great choice. Playability is very good (love the neck!) and the low weight allows longer gigs without back problems. Love the sound of the humbuckers and the overall finish is simply perfect. I never had a guitar in this price range of this quality. Will hang on to this one for quite some time!
My experience of this guitar was awful. I bought this guitar, and was happy until I needed to change the battery of the guitar. The lid does not get off unless you break and make cracks of surroundings. This is because the black ink on the surface is too thick, and ESP did not calculate that. This black finished-surface will come off from the back. Both Guitar Center and ESP would not do anything about it. Actually, Technician and Guitar Center handled it worse, so you should not trust them.
Overall:Already own 11 guitars valued from $300 to $10,000+ I compulsively bought this Vulture with little more than mediocre expectations but man am I surprised. I Don't have the time to go into much detail but I play every day 3-4 hours a day and I can't bring myself to put this down. Absolutely love it.zZounds shipped it extremely fast and the Vulture arrived professionally packaged and in perfect condition.
Overall:I recently purchased a Vulture, I currently own PRS custom 24 ten Top, PRS SIngle cut Ten Top, LTD Snakbyte and now a vulture. Out of the box it was setup terrible, it also had the cheapest made in China 9v battery in it I've ever seen, the snakebyte did as well when I got it, but the snakebyte was setup better. The guitar plays good, not great but sounds great. The snakebyte plays better but I like the sound of the Vulture a little better. The satin finish is gorgeous but cheap, I've only had the guitar two weeks and it's already starting to shine up in a two spots. I can only imagine after a couple years..it might get ugly. If your going to play it I strongly recommend not buying this Satin guitar or the Snakebyte it will end up shiny unfortunately.
Love this guitar! I've played non-professionally for many years, generally in the rock/metal area, and over the years my go-to was the ESP/LTD EC line. I'd always wanted a flying V shape: Gibsons were too expensive, Jackson and others were goofy looking. Then along came this JH signature... aesthetics on this one were just right. It plays as well as it sounds; well balanced; the Het-Set pickups have a searing tone and are instantly recognizable. Great purchase!
The Vulture looks even better in person then in the pics. As usual with Korean LTD's, the overall fit and finish is perfect. Action was good out of the box too. I love the satin finish, EMG pickup's, hardtail bridge, set neck design, ebony fretboard, locking tuners, head stock and body shape, short throw selector switch, and lack of tone knobs (because I never use them anyway). Really nice Axe.
