Tried two of the batch of the reported problematical capsules in the new machine. Both failed with another exploding again on unloading. It was bulging in the bottom on removal. Fortunately I wear spectacles so my eyes were protected. I presume the old machine was damaged by these defective capsules. Probably coffee grounds in the works stopping it opening fully. So I threw away all 5 remaining boxes of that batch of capsules and bought fresh. You might warn customers that if their machine are having difficulty expressing coffee it might be a sign that capsules may be defective.

I love the machine. When I get up in the morning I head straight for my coffee machine. I have a magnificant coffee mug. It takes 3 capsules to fill it. Sometimes I mix up the different pods to get the brew I want. I also have the milk jug attached to the Piccolo. When I've finished making my coffee the milk is ready. So easy for first thing in the morning. Buying my capsules on line gives me a better choice of flavors and cheaper. Thankyou Espressoteria .Dalma Bates

Lovely compact unobtrusive size, sits neatly on the kitchen benchtop.The perfect machine for one or two people. Coffee is dispensed quickly and capsules easy and efficiently removed.I have no complaints other than it’s difficult to deconstruct used capsules for recycling. Removing the lid being the hardest part.

So far, this is an excellent machine and is very easy to use. I like the feature where you can have either a long or short coffee. It has a separate on/off switch which is not always the case on other machines.A hint for new users. Run hot water only by not inserting a capsule to clean the machine.Compared to my Nespresso machine, I prefer the Piccolo.
Very good for the price, $160 for pod machine and milk attachment. The milk frother does a better job than most baristas, whips the milk up beautifully, and the machine is both quick and easy to use, and to clean. Quality seems very good. I was never a huge fan of pod coffee, I much prefer a full espresso machine, but for work when there is only instant coffee available, it's very good, not as weak tasting as other pod coffee. Vittoria is probably the best pod coffee I've tried, even the decaf. I'm a happy customer :slightly_smiling:
After researching capsule machines we decided on the Piccolo, despite some negative reviews, because it looked sturdier & had the added advantage of a Milk frother. Coffee machines & personal expectations can be divisive. Don't expect results that can only come from a manual barista machine. The results from the Piccolo are surprisingly good - great crema & the milk frother is so easy to use & clean. Ideal machine to take on your travels - light weight, easy to use & clean.
I purchased your pod machine and then I purchased another pod machine for work and bought more pods. I then find out that the pods I purchased do not fit the machine. This means I have 6 boxes I cannot use. . You should note on your pods NOT COMPATIBLE with the Piccolo Black Coffee Capsule Machine. I do not think now I would of purchased 2 machines from your company.
Hoping that this ‘Piccolo’ capsule machine works for longer than my previous one which I bought not too long ago. The previous machine did not puncture the pods properly and then began to leak from the bottom after an explosive sound. I have now bought the new one at my own expense. Disappointing!!!Marisa
I love it. It's the best. I first had one when there was a free machine in supermarket when you bought 6 lots of capsules. It lasted a few years so I bought one from you. I have spent a lot of money over the years and had troubles with them. Yours is the best.
