Essano Certified Organic Rosehip Oil 20 ml

I received this product for free from Influenster and Essano in exchange for my honest review. I am 32 and I have laugh lines around my eyes, and fine lines across my forehead. I have used these products every day for 6 weeks to fully assess their usefulness. Essano Certified Organic Roseville oil- I did not think I would like putting oil on my face. It feels very heavy on my skin, and I honestly thought it would clog my pores and cause me to break out. It did not! A little really goes a long way, and just keep rubbing it in until your face doesn’t feel oily. I had a sunburn and after using the oil and the night crème, my face felt so much better. I’ve been using this for almost two weeks now and don’t see much of a difference yet (but honestly you won’t see a difference in skin care for at least a month or more). The oil serum are nice although they smell awful. Using the three together morning and night my skin is left feeling soft. For the first whole week that I used it, I also broke out like crazy. Once you have Al three on your skin, I have noticed that the surface of my skin will pill and the product rubs off in little balls (like doing a peel) I really would not buy this on my own. The bright orange color scared me at first, but I really like that it comes from all natural ingredients and it felt really cool to the touch when you applied to your skin. The smell was not overbearing either so it was easy to tolerate. I used this product probably a total of five times before I had to stop. I never had any issues prior to using this with my routine but I immediately mediately had to stop using this because my face started reacting. My face got really red and really itchy and now I have really uneven and textured skin. I’m not sure if it was a particular ingredient in this rose oil but I unfortunately cannot longer use this. I am going to tell everyone I know about this. It was truly a game changer for my night routine. I rubbed three to four drops between my fingers to warm it up, then gently pressed into my face. it just makes my skin glow, and my face has never looked better. the selfie is completely untouched, no makeup outside of eyeshadow and mascara. it's so smooth and radiant. I had some deep purple acne scars on my cheeks that faded pretty impressively over two weeks. I wish I took a before picture!! I can't wait to see what else this does for my complexion over the next two! the only downfall is the scent. it's earthy like a rose from the garden, and not floral like a perfume. I liked it, but it may not be for everybody.

I have been trying this product for sometime now. There is zero added fragrance so it definitely smells like a heavy oil type. Which isn’t bad necessarily. I would definitely recommend this for nighttime use and not daytime use for the fact it takes a good bit of time for it to sink in and dry down. Even then you still have an oily texture which could be hard with wearing make up during the day. As far as results I couldn’t tell any plus or minus is with my skin and then again I just recently went off birth control as I’m TTC so my skin is going through its own process at this point. But I would like to think it helped my skin.

I've never been one huge on facial oils because I always feel like they're going to sit on my skin and cause my face to become greasy or even clog my pores. That being said, I still am always excited to try new products and discover some new favorites. Is this a new favorite? probably not. However, I do like it much more than I thought I would. Contrary to popular belief, it does not make your skin oily. It absorbs super quickly and leaves your skin smooth. I don't really have stretch marks and so I can't clarify if it works for such, but I do have very fine lines on my face. Maybe I'm just imagining but they do seem to blur after using the oil. I don't think it actually eliminates them as they are back to normal in the morning. However, when I opened the box, I was misled. The box packaging was larger than the actual item (See photo). To me, this is deceptive packaging that misleads consumers, and it is a turn-off. The item either needs to be larger, or the packaging smaller. While not extremely off-putting, I prefer items to have a pleasant scent, and this does not, which is okay as well. -Overall 4/5- Out of the 3 products Essano sent me, this is the only one I somewhat liked. It looks like a great beauty product if you are into earthy-organic items. Update: After applying the 3 items from the Essano line, the combined scent from all 3 items was slightly nauseating. For the first time since I started using skincare items, I actually re-washed my face to get the products off. Would I overall recommend the Rosehip oil? Yes

EDIT: Clogs pores, make me breakout with tiny pimples. In the trash it's going. I really do like this oil, it's moisturizing heavy (I do like my oils to feel like oil). But, I do have some gripes with this as a system. When used in combination with the serum and oil, everything pills to bad. Ive been using this for about 2 weeks and I haven't noticed much of a difference in my skin in terms of plumping. My skin is definitely a bit brighter and hasn't been as dry and flaky since using this with the serum night cream I am a bit confused which order to use these 3 in, since the instructions on the boxes contradict themselves. When I first tried the Essano Rosehip Oil I ended up not using enough to really use on my face. I noticed it was an orange color and I was a little worried about if it would start making my face discolored. The second time I used it, I put it on under my face sunscreen and the color of the Rosehip Oil blended into my face well. The #EssanoRosehipOil left my skin feeling soft, but I noticed that later in the day my eyes started to burn from where the Rosehip Oil was too close to them. My skin would start to break out if I used it everyday, but if I used it 2-3 times a week my face did a lot better with it! From the 2-3 weeks I've been using it my face texture still looks and feels the same just a little bit softer.

This rosehip oil is quite a bit thicker than other face oils I’ve used and it’s got quite an orangey glow to it. It definitely helps with the dry patches I sometimes get on my face. I didn’t love the scent of this oil though. I did appreciate the glass bottle and dropper and that it’s organic. The added açaí berry was something I haven’t seen in other rosehip oils so I liked that added benefit. I’m thinking this bottle should last me a while since I don’t use this nightly and only when I see more dry patches that need a little extra TLC.
