Tea Tree Essential Oil (15ml): You may already know that Tea Tree Essential Oil has been used by Indigenous Australians for decades. This is because Tea Tree Oil is known for its powerful antibacterial, antifungal and deodorizing properties. Not to mention, these benefits of Tea Tree Oil make it one of the most versatile essential oils for cleaning. Peppermint Essential Oil (15ml): With its incredibly refreshing and crisp essence, Peppermint Essential Oil (Mentha Arvensis) is primarily known for its antiseptic properties. In fact, many have found the benefits of Peppermint Essential Oil to be particularly useful when it comes to household cleaning. In addition, Peppermint Oil is known to be an effective rodent deterrent, as well as a powerful repellent for spiders, wasps, bees and mosquitos. Eucalyptus Blue Gum Essential Oil (15ml): In addition to its refreshingly balanced aroma, Eucalyptus Blue Gum Essential Oil is known to have a long list of cleaning benefits; in fact, it is commonly used as a natural cleaning agent for floors, showers and toilets. Lavender Essential Oil (15ml): Perhaps one of the most popular essential oils, Lavender Essential Oil has been seen to have natural cleansing and detoxifying properties; this makes it one of the best essential oils for household cleaning. Because of its beautiful floral aroma, it is often added to laundry detergents as well! How To Use Me There are many ways to receive the benefits of these essential oils. Below are just a few ideas to get you started: All-Purpose Cleaner: In a large spray bottle, add ½ cup White Vinegar, ½ tsp Natural Dish/Liquid soap and 10-15 drops of Essential Oils – mix well and top with 1 cup Water. Shake well before each use and spray and wipe on sinks, counters, cabinets, bathrooms and more! Cleaning Paste: In a squeeze bottle, mix together 1 cup Baking Soda, ¼ cup Natural Dish/Liquid soap, 1 tbsp White Vinegar and 10-15 drops of Essential Oils. Adjust vinegar/baking soda quantity if needed for desired consistency. Apply to sinks, toilets, showers (and more) using a microfibre cloth and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes. Rinse well with water and polish clean with a dry cloth. Room & Linen Spray: In a small spray bottle, combine 3 tbsp Witch Hazel or Rubbing Alcohol (Vodka also works well!) with 15-20 drops Essential Oil and mix thoroughly. Add ½ cup Water to finish and shake well. Spray throughout your home to purify the air, or on your linen for a quick refresh between washes. Essential Oils are extremely potent and can cause serious harm if used incorrectly. Essential oils should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
