Great quality product, hate the packaging. Love these breadcrumbs. They are affordable and convenient. Hate the packaging!! Have no problem putting them in a container once opened as the bag cannot be re-sealed but the plastic bag is often so poor that the breadcrumbs are leaking out as soon as I lift the bag off the shelf at the supermarket. I will still continue to buy the product for its convenience and price point but if you are looking to improve, improve the packaging.

Ok for the price but cant compare to quality crumbs. Well you know the saying .. you get what you pay for...... At $2. 60 for 750g this is great value compared to krummies at $3 for 375g so double the price. In saying that the Woolworths bread crumbs didnt hit the mark for me. They were super fine almost like caster sugar and not toasted and crunchy. I was going to crumb my burgers but as they were so fine used the crumbs for binding the meat together as a filling. I prefer my crumbs to be a bigger size and have some crunch and taste to them. I much prefer Kellogs bread crumbs or Krummies. Would I buy this again... NO.. only if making the food for someone else that likes it

Handy pantry staple. For someone who does not make their own breadcrumbs, I find these very convenient and great value. I use them to crumb beef and pork sizzle steaks as well as chicken tenders. They are also perfect for using in meatball mixes. The crumbs are small, but that makes it easier to get an even coat. They taste just like I think breadcrumbs should. They are always easy to locate on the bottom row of the spices aisle and last ages (I put mine into an airtight container upon opening). Well priced and definitely a regular purchase for me.
Excellent Everyday Staple. I have never purchased breadcrumbs before, I have always just had left over bread and made my own and kept a container in the freezer. Wow, these are really very easy to use and you can store them in the pantry! That just frees up a bit more valuable freezer room! I am very taken to these and have found them to be extremely easy to use, they don't have the unique consistency, texture and multi size that home made breadcrumbs do - they have a fine consistency but they certainly do the job. At a price point of $2. 60, I am unsure of the value but as a pantry staple backup, I would happily buy this product again and certainly recommend that everyone has at least 1 pack in their pantry.
Great crunch, great taste. I rarely use breadcrumbs and when I do I use Panko. That’s why I’m glad I was offered these Essential breadcrumbs. I’d forgotten how good “ normal” breadcrumbs can be. I used them to crumb some flathead fillets. The flavour and crunchiness of the breadcrumbs helped make the fish taste delicious. I’d recommend them highly. An added bonus is that they’re inexpensive. The only criticism is that for occasional users like me, the 750g packet is way too large.
Perfect for crumbing. Looking to add a bit of crunch to your schnitzels? Look no further. While not as crunchy as panko breadcrumbs, these are a cheap addition to any pantry - A must have for those who are looking to put in the additional effort with their dishes.
Great pantry essential. I have used these bread crumbs multiple times now and it is great. Large packet size so it’s great value for money. Always handy to have in the pantry. Would definitely buy again. As tasty as any other brand.
Pleasantly surprised. We bought the Essential Breadcrumbs when our usual brand was unavailable. To be honest I hadn't noticed this product prior to that. I did a quick comparison of ingredients etc... and was pleasantly surprised that the ingredient list was no worse than the named brand (actually it was shorter!), there was less salt and sugar, and higher % Aussie ingredients. The price was also a stand-out at under half the unit price of the other brand. Only challenge is storing the open pack - but an air tight container sorted that quickly! We tried it at home with chicken parmas - tasted fantastic and no one could tell the difference. We will definitely buy again!
Looked performed and tasted as expected! I had not tried this product before, opting for the more expensive brands out of a belief they were better. I am reporting that they are not!! As for plain standard breadcrumbs…I will be purchasing these from now on. Looked, performed and tasted as expected but for a cheaper price!I will definitely buy this item as needed and will add my own ingredients if seeker a fancier mix!
