It's been a while since I've done anything with my nails, mainly because it takes too long and I always end up messing them up right after. I was basically expecting the same with this polish but NO WAY!! It dried so stinking fast... and when I say dry, I mean dry. Not tacky, not you think it's dry then it smears on your clothes. DRY! I am truly in disbelief. It came out a little more watery than other nail polish I've used. Maybe that helps with the drying. But I honestly didn't even need more than one coat. I applied 2 just to see the difference. I could absolutely do one if in a hurry. The bottles are really nice and the curves make it easier to hold. I really like how flat the brush is as well. It makes it very easy to apply and gives great coverage. The color ... I am typically not the one to paint my own nails because they always come out streaky and uneven. I am shocked at how well this polish works. It took me two coats for it to look completely solid and covered. On top of that, it looks just as perfect as a gel manicure would be if you went to the nail salon. This polish also dries slightly faster than a traditional polish. One recommendation I have is to clean up the excess polish on your skin as quick as you can as it is a little more difficult to remove with nail polish remover when it dries. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this product. The color I am wearing is called first fitting, and it is the perfect white color.

I'm obsessed with this gel nail polish from Essie, it's absolutely amazing. I chose the polish first view and I love the color. It's a pretty light blue with the perfect amount of shimmer. I like that this nail polish goes on thick and really only one coat is needed, which is a huge plus. It dries quickly too and I've been wearing this polish for days and had no chipping at all. No matter what I do, the polish stays in place and looks amazing each day. This shade is going to be great to wear during the Winter season, but I love that it's a color I can wear any other time as well. It's beautiful and definitely a new favorite of mine. Essie gel polish is long lasting and high quality. Will be getting more colors very soon from this collection.

Fairy Tailor is the perfect sheer polish for my cool olive skin. It’s sheer but slightly milky, so it hides all the little imperfections in my nails in just two coats and makes them shine. This shade makes my nails look polished, clean, flawless, like I’ve just had a French manicure—or like I don’t actually need one. It looks best on longer nails, where I can see my natural nail tips through it (I never use it when my nails are short). The wide brush is very forgiving, and two swipes will cover most of my nails. I do coat the top edge of my nails to stop any chipping, and I also use the “dot of polish” application method for a flawless finish. This nail polish claims it is like gel, which I think it could be if it dried properly.This nail polish does not set right. I waited many time intervals hoping it would dry with different nails and it simply did not, it turned to goo and I could make impressions with my finger. I waited approximately 30 minutes hoping it would dry on one nail and it wouldn’t and that’s with the first coat.Second coat? I have Sheer Fantasy and Fairy Tailor in the gel line, and love both; but Fairy Tailor is more peach and opaque than this shade. Sheer Fantasy is a truly sheer polish (no shimmer) with a “your nails but better” look that’s absolutely perfect for everyday wear. It looks great on long nails in particular. One coat is barely visible, but two coats is enough to give the impression of a very lightly pink French manicure (but it’s not opaque enough to hide stains or imperfections in the nail, so be aware). It’s such a classic look, perfect for a Grace Kelly style outfit. If you don’t need color with your outfit, and just want to look like you were born with perfect nails, this is your shade. It’s quite similar to Mademoiselle from the regular Essie line, with a very faint ...
