My best advice for this or really any color product you have not bought before is do not rely on online swatches only if at all possible. I did some window shopping online looking for a new spring shade. Online it looked very muted and light, similar to some shades I already have. I had decided on a different shade based on online swatches, but selected this one when I got to the store. It's a nice shade, not to bright, and not too muted, I would say it's more of a salmon or light coral than peach. It's a good shade for spring and summer. It applies evenly and does not streak, weak time is average A lovely Spring/Summer shade, but I'd wear it year-round. I hope Essie keeps making this one. It's a keeper

The brush on this polish is so good and easy to use. Two coats gives a perfect white nail. Very cute for both finger and toe nails. It stays clean for about two weeks, but I do tend to get cracks after about one week (on my fingers - it lasts way longer on toe nails). This color is the whitest white of ALL nail polishes. One coat gave great coverage with zero streaks, but I used 2 coats to make it really solid, glistening white. It did chip after 3 days on my fingers, but a few quick swipes and it was like new. This polish goes on smoothly and the color is opaque, not transparent. The first couple of uses are my favorite. One coat is adequate for good coverage and the brush inside the bottle is smooth too, does not leave streaks or lines when painting the coat of polish. The color is really white, bright white. The brush is much bigger than I was expecting i only had to use one coat of this polish, rather than the 2 coats of the cheap polish I was having to use. Love it! Will continue to buy this brand if I ever venture out of my white/black polish.

If you like to use white nail polish this Essie blanc is the one you are looking for. It's such a great white nail polish, just a basic white and nothing too special. For me it's a bit streaky, so you do need a second coat to even it out and to get an opaque coverage. This white is exactly the best base color if you like nail art, very pleasing for dotted nails :). Perfect for summer or under sheer nail polishes. For me it lasts about 3-4 days without chipping which is really good for the price. It's really good quality as what essie brand is! I really recommend it.

So if you like things simple or you are just in the mood for something softer, Essie is a fantastic brand. The thinner formula also lasted longer than my other brands. It also is much easier to remove than other brands as a result. Essie makes the best glitter polishes I have ever seen--truly the only polishes in the line that I would call extravagant if that is what you are going for and yet they are still the epitome of sophistication--flashy, sparkling, full of the most glitter in just a swipe, breathtaking in all lighting. Essie nail polishes are for a highly specific taste and for those whom these polishes are a match, this brand is pure gold.

Mademoiselle

One coat of Mademoiselle and it looks great apart from the places I messed up on! lol I usually use two coats and it becomes more opaque and smoother. It is one of the more white sheers, so with two coats it looks more opalescent than pink. Warning: do not get sunscreen on nail polish!!! It breaks it down and makes it sticky. This nail polish in the picture got sunscreen on it 24 hours previously though but I washed it off with soap and water and it went back to normal, as shown. ALSO CAN PEOPLE PLEASE INCLUDE THE NAMES OF THE POLISH THEY’RE REVIEWING?? I am dying at these comments showing off beautiful polish but not saying what color it is when Essie has so many that look alike!! 😭

TOO EXPENSIVE

Boatloads of love is a beautiful muted, creamy white. It’s not pink, not even slightly - more of a grayish undertone. It’s not iridescent - not at all even though the bottle looks like it. It’s very streaky - 3 coats for decent coverage. And it dries weird, almost like it’s old polish which sucks because I literally just bought this. Idk how well it wears but judging by the tiny bubbles forming and how long it’s taking to fully dry, I’m not hopeful. Super disappointing considering the price!
